Iwerks was just incredible. The things like 1:44 and 4:04 play more with perspective than I think I've seen ANY other 2d animation attempt. Besides which, the whole thing is just like "You think we could make a real bouncy cartoon with dark subject matter?"

It would have been pretty cool to have been around in those experimental years with cartoons. Sorry if I sound uppity about silly cartoons...

Imagine how difficult and how much time was put into creating this. I can't even fathom creating a hand drawn animation on paper frame by frame, let alone one this well done. Computer animation is a pain in the butt, but compared to this, it's a piece of cake.
