Krell preamp replaced the acurus act 3 because it didn't have new sound formats. Even using a good 5 channel or 7 will improve sound. The klipsch are sens. Although a sep. Amp will do wonders.

You'll be amazed how much better they will soun with a sep. Pre-amp and amp! I have the klipsch klf20(2 10" and 2 horns) matching center and surrounds with 8" woofers and velodyne hgs 18 sub.(big room). Using acurus 2 and 5 channel amps with krell s1200 preamp. Big diff.

I have a light controlled room and I was concerned that going from the HC1500 down to a 1200 lumen projector I would have a significant loss of image. After hooking up the projector this last weekend and tuning it in, it is so much brighter, clearer, sharper, blacker black and the colors pop. Did I say it was stone cold quiet. I will post another video with a moving showing as well.

I am using a 106" Da-Lite high contrast screen mounted 14'6" from the projector. The image is very very bright. I will post some videos this weekend with some Blu-Ray's. I selected this projector over seeing the EPSON 6500, Sony HPLHW10 and the Panasonic AE3000. The Mitsubishi is much sharper and is stone cold quiet. It's the real deal.
