  • as a professional guitar tube amp builder i recomend NOT to do it that way. a tuberadio amp section is just not meant to amplify a guitar.

hear my amp. i call it the diabolo MK2 (2 channel with reverb)

    watch?v=oNCVaW57oIo

  • damn that thing sounds good playing the white stripes.

  • radio is properly worth a few hundred quid !!!!!

  • grat

    idea

  • i just dont know what to do with my self :D one of the first songs i learned :D

  • It uses tubes. Careful not to use too much distortion cuz I'm not sure if you can replace the tubes when they get worn.

  • I just don't know what to do with myself..... :)

  • Maybe you should learn how to play first?

  • @Carthsting u jelly?

  • @sung00ku problem, sausage finger?

  • Cool !

  • so it's not a HOW TO all you did was connect your guitar to a "Y" connector. seems like no one actually makes any real vids on how to ((MAKE)) an amp without having an electronics degree.

  • @phartattack yes! your right. but i had so many questions on how i did that. so i just posted a vid. its nothing special, just a radio with an audioinput and it works great for me...

  • I love the camera work!

  • did the radio already have inputs or you added these?

  • @mrgreanjeans yeah! it already had these inputs :)

  • cool amp you got there for home practice! can u show us how to make the adapter cable? i have an old tube radio but i need the adapter :S thanks

  • beautiful radio, take good care of that thing.

  • That's a great funny amp!

  • nice man! also.. that guitar has some great looks man! did you do the paint job yourself? and if so, what kinda paint did you use? I'd love to do that myself too..

  • THX!

    yeah!! i painted it myself.

I used the special "edding 750's".

after i painted it with the eddings i sprayed some varnish over it to conserve the color.

    i wish you good luck!!!

(pls send me pictures, when you are done) ;-)

  • Howd you make it?

  • depends on your radio...

you will need a cable from the guitar to the radio-input...

i need a 1/4inch jack to the two banana-plugs from the radio....

i built the adapter, because i don't want to use a special cable.

  • So where can I get an adapter?

  • its a selfmade adapter....

  • damn that guitar looks awesome and i like the sound from that radio :D

  • Do all old amps have input plugs in the back?

I cant find any on e bay that do.

  • Forgot to mention im in america.

    It may be different there

  • Awesome!! Sounds great!! Nice and warm.

  • great vid! I bought the radio now I need the adapter
