I worked at cape Preston as an all rounder and operated all the gear there including the 2350 ! Im back in qld now working in the coal thank god ! I've never worked in harder rock than cape Preston ! I can't believe on all these videos that no one has mentioned that if they really worked there ! Nice to see the big gear on YouTube ! Cheers Graeme !
We've had loads over 400T on those 6300 recently. they can take it, but they have a little trouble dumping them. They usually need a little bit of a run up.. The 2350 mainly load the 4400's and the RH400 load the 6300.. takes too long otherwise.
They are big machines!! no doubt. When you work on them every day, you kinda forget how big they are.
you couldn't load that truck with a 994 but I would prefer to drive a loader that you see what you do.I hate to use electronic equipement, I prefer to use an old loader that you have to know how to fill the bucket.
Sorry 994 does not compete. I operated 994's for 5 years and now an 1850 for 2 years. LTI's kickass plus big size diference. WA1200's come close in comfort tho.
Largest truck phisically is the Komatsu 960E, both the T282 and 797 are "smaller" but carry more tonnes. 960E will overload at 390. A lot better operation than in your other video. Looks like an 1850 from the cab
@ShadoZJ As mines increase in size and workload, there will be a need for trucks much larger and which will carry more tonnes than the Komatsu 960E, Liebherr T282, and CAT 797F AND for loaders much bigger and which will hold more cubic yards per load than the LeTourneau L-2350. In other words, there will be monster trucks and loaders that will make the 960E, T282, 797F, and L-2350 look merely average in the future as mines get larger....
@grickard319582010 There is never a problem building bigger trucks that is the easy part. If they could develop tyres that can stand the workload there would already be bigger trucks.
the world biggest truck is a TEREX model

Looks like we have a lot of experts commenting here! It makes comparisons and size between the various makes much easier, thank to all!

Oh yeah, hard rocking ACDC and then this heavy metal L2350. Doesn´t get much better than that I´d say.
Great video!
