This race was bullshit, and I say that even though I am a Gordon fan. I dont see why NASCAR called this race at lap 106, when they let the track dry up and continue with the racing at Kansas. Plus look where they threw the caution, just when Newman was going to pass Gordon, I really felt Newman got robbed of a win.

On a side note, they were saying something about "when its your year, its your year". Little did everyone know that Gordon wouldnt win the championship.

1. No top 35 43 fastest every week

2. Elimination style format for the chase. Lowest finishing driver after each races eliminated until 3 are left. At the last race highest finish driver wins the championship but (this is undecided) Each of the 3 drivers must lead 1 lap.

3. Cheating: when you do cheat:

1. You lose all driver/owner points

2. You lose all winnings for that race

4. You will be banned from the chase for that year.

I like numbers 1, 3, and 5. About the wing, I'm actually pretty content with that, but I really don't care what happens in that case. And for the Chase format, I believe that it should stay the way it is, but instead of just adding points for winning races, they should, (I believe), deduct points for DNFs to make up for it and make a tighter gap. Those were all good ideas of yours though.

Problem is that lots of guys have taking a screwing in the past for the same thing. Mark Martin would have been champ several times if not for bad luck. Its the nature of the beast. Well here's the thing. You have to finish in the top 10 to visit the awards banquet in New York after the season. The main reason why they made it 12 instead of 10+ is because they wanted more people to compete for the championship for the excitement.

I am a Gordon fan and this is the first time since 1999 that i didnt go to pocono...1999 was the first time since gordon won at pocono. I was happy but angry at th same time.
