I love the commercial I saw for this movie "No one told me he could act" lol. Wasn't too happy with the ending as the shootout was to cliche, typical of his weaker roles from the past. Still, a movie worth seeing which in this day-and-age is a rarity indeed as Hollywood has completely gone to shit.

I agree. Overall, for most this is a bad movie. But for us JCVD fans, this is his best acting yet. And really hits home - in real life JCVD treats women badly, had a drug problem. I mean the way he turned his life around, its an awesome movie. But most really wouldn't get it. Definitely Van Dammes best. Hardly any action, but the gunplay was awesome!!

Seriously, its worth the rent. Again, if you've never seen his movies. I mean, he finally acts awesome. The gunplay is great. But yeah, very little fighting and short on action - but the action is fun and revenge is cool. Really shows the dark side of a character.

I watched this just last week and I have to say it is Van Damme's best movie in a very long time. Granted no martial arts present, he proves himself as an actor. Hardcore violence and action still ensues so its an awesome ride, all fans should definitly give it a shot

Drugs, women, and fame. Went to his head. Sure, he wouldn't gross as much as some, but he was making his way. You need to read the article Damme straight on Entertainment weekly's website. Really talks about his rise and his fall, and how hes tryin to make a comeback. So sad, and hes still a jerk about some things, but some lessons, he has learned.

I just finished watching this, it was actually quite solid, better than a lot of the theatrical films I've seen, van damme actually did a good acting job. Its much more a drama than an action film though, and while it wasnt perfect (cliches, other bad actors) was pretty cool, especially for a van damme film. I thought it was a theatrical pre-release I was watching till i looked it up and found out it was DTV.

This looks like an extremely poor quality remake of the great Seagal's Hard to Kill. Only Hard to Kill was a great action movie and this aint.

Unfortunately...quite possibly never. The thing about Van Damme is apparently he didn't know how to say NO to bad movie ideas. Movies such as Double Team, Knockoff, and ESPECIALLY Universal Soldier 2 - I don't know what the hell he was thinking with that one.
