Can anyone confirm if one of the original guitarists in Icon came from the Plasmatics? I could have sworn that was the case, but don't see any mention of it. Thanks.
@johnstonebreaker No he did not I know the band I went to school in the same state as them & know the band personally. John Aquilino was my guitar teacher & Dan Wexler the other guitarist is a good friend of mine :)

Oh, it was incredible. Having been a long time fan, I was really worried about whether or not they had found a singer to pull it off. Stephen was great, so those are some big shoes to fill, but Tarsha was flawless. All it took was to hear him hit that first note on Rock On, and I new I was in for a treat.
Their new singer kicks ass. I seen em here in Phoenix with Tesla. It took the sound guy about 4 songs before he pulled his head out of his ass and got the sound right. Freaking asshole sound guy. They did all the songs of their first cassette.
i travel all the way from Mexico to see these guys and i was worth it, i was there first row in front of Dan Wexter and it was one of the most amazing sets of pure energy metal i encoutered ,solid rhythm section , original gtr players and a singer who can hit all those high notes.
