This is one of the dangers of this type of singing. It's not that she can't sing, she is wonderful. Limitations of the human body. You can only push so hard before you eventually need to rest and recover. Flyleaf took a break so their singers voice could heal properly.

so many people complain that her voice is getting permanently hoarse and she sounds shit live now, etc, but she's been doing this since she was 16 and her voice wearing out is completely normal but i personally think her voice sounds soooo much better with the rasp.

@kathizzleeeeee Yea plus i mean when you tour wouldn't anybody';s voice get hoarse giving your all every night? i dont know much about touring or anything, but don't musicians play like night after night? I mean deng, my voice would get raspy too!

@kpanda09 She uses her voice to a certain point where it can't take it. So she sang songs before this one, and must've brought it to it's point, and wiped out her voice a little. Since she tends to sing really high and uses a different technique than other singers, her voice tends to get raspy and tired a lot. If that made sense?
