Yeah, the corporations (not we) have been under lower taxes for 8 years and Yet we have had two recessions. Cutting taxes for corporations gives more money to CEO's and upper management. It has done nothing for the working poor.

Yes, that's pretty much the consensus among those who have no earthly idea how the economy works. What, exactly, do you think happens to the "common consumer" when the government raises taxes? Do the companies eat that cost or pass it on? And why does it matter to you how much a CEO or upper-management individual make? Tax cuts help everyone. We are, according to the news reports right now, about to experience Jimmy Carter all over again. Socialism doesn't work. Liberalism is even worse.

Well, you can see now how this politics of tax cutting for the rich worked out.

Unregulated Markets produced huge bubbles of worthless debt, that eventually SOMEBODY has to pay.

And by "somebody" I mean the consumer/emloyee/taxpayer: The middle class.

If you don't like socialism, go to a third world country like Africa where they don't even have health care in most parts. You'll be glad for what ever you can get. The U.S. govt. and drug companies are promoting negative dogma and nagativly brain washing many Americans about socialism so that the American public will be scared of it & keep it out of our country. Only those who have ever visited other countries know the difference, or any better. Find out for your self. Question authority!

The United States Military is already running on socialism. Every active duty military member gets free healthcare, just not civilians.

Obama -does- want Soviet style Socialism, but McCain is no different. The Brzezinski family is working both campaigns. And for those that think this lady is crazy, she may be (she's supporting McCain, after all...) but look around. Socialism has been incrementally implemented since at least 1871 with the Legislative Act on Feb 21st turning the United States into a corporation (literally). Socialized retirement, socialized schooling, soon socialized medicine - it's already here, people.
