Im so confused . . . . So you were analyzing this song? . . . . Maybe I should watch this again because The one I'm used to isnt anywhere near to this . . . this is the second part of the song right? I used to have both parts but I lost the cd and I wish I had both ;~; That cd had 98 songs on it (ya custm made ahah) it had like reel big fish and Nelly + pink... best summer easy listening cd ever

be born from within herself) can only come from herself. Maybe that is why at the end she says "If I could have sunlight, in the palm of your hand, I'd take the moonlight instead." She turns her attention to herself, to be 'selfish' in giving herself the love that she wants, even if she could have all the love that this person could give, she decides... she'd rather love herself and take care of herself. Maybe it was too late for this person, but her love stays in many ways.

I can agree with the last part of your analysis. I always get this image of someone holding a ball of light in their hands, and it represents everything she ever really wanted, but it means her not being true to herself. So she closes his hand over the ball of light and turns away, with the moon in her eyes, reflecting determination for the path she must take, and sadness for what she had to give up.
