@nagolckl I agree - both the Daytona and GT40 are absolutely gorgeous. I think if it came to the crunch, I'd probably go for the GT40, although the 'Tona is very very cool as well.
my bad. 2005 was the release of the first production modle of the ford gt. But in 2002 the concept was released as an idea for production. all I remember was playing sega gt 2002 on my xbox and the car was in it. so the idea was there, I just had my facts mixed up. lol.
dude..stop talkin you know nothing about cars..last time i checked that typical american car won the lemans right after it came out w/o ever racin it before n went on to win it 3 more years in a row..retard
yes this is a replica, but if it was the real gt-40 its worth all that money cause theirs only a handful of them, and this was the car that schooled ferrari back in the 50's in the race in lemans 4 years in a row finsihing first second and third, thats why its a legend and thats why its worth so much money.
ford blue it never needs any help from the government to keep it from going belly up government motors

It would have been good if someone had told the annoying woman in the background to shut her mouth.

brand new gt40 is like 150 thousand. or at least in the year 2000 when they were re released.
mtxrules 3 years ago
Actually it was more like 2005 and the name is just "Ford GT", since it is no longer 40 inches tall.

Even if this is a kit, its still to me the most heart-stoppingly gorgeous car ever built; my ultimate dream machine :)
btw, what wheels did you choose to replace the classic Halibrands? They seem to fit the GT40 nicely.

Yeah but the MkI/II were both designed by British engineers. The MkIV/J-Car is all American though.
