god i love the laid to rest films!! robert hall, the director, is the head of the fx company. and i know he's done some work on bigger films. hes so amazing! glad you guys liked it too. im hopin for a 3rd! lol, adrien brodys nose! :) i thought drive thru was fun cheddar as well. and leighton meester is always hot! :) glad ive missed the lonely ones! yes, krys, sion sono is a god! cold fish, one of the best of '11! great as always guys! \m/
that psych hospital where grave encounters was filmed is called riverview its in coquitlam, bc and its creepy as hell, was there a few weeks ago one night looking for an address i was delivering pizza to they were filming something although most of its buildings are now shut down they do house up to 256 patients in one remaining building which i guess would be convienient to have some resident 'extras' for horror films
the laid to rest movies really have some of the best gore effects in any recent horror movie HANDS DOWN! name any newer movie that have awesome bloody practical gore effects, betcha you can't!
she's a hugger, not a humper, im 23 and ive always had a huge crush on danielle harris, even when i was little from like halloween 4 and 5,and then you get to see her tits in the halloween remake, very nice
@xHarukaMimiChanx - Oooooh I totally forgot Hair Extensions! Good call. It was as goofy as a Disney-ish hell, and meant to be a poke at "long haired asian chick" horror. I liked it for what it was, but it was certainly his worst horror flick to date. = )
great review guys the part that was freaky about grave encounters was when the girl was in the corner and she turned around and her mouth widened and cold fish was slow in the first half but got fuckin awesome during the 2nd half and i loved the experiment i kept holding off on it for the longest time and when i watched i regret not watching it sooner
@MultiEddie19 - Same here. Held off on watching The Experiment for like a year, and instantly kicked myself in the ass for not checking it out sooner. Cold Fish was definitely slow in the beginning, but the reward for sticking it out was more than worth the wait. Grave Encounters was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. It felt like it had a scare once every minutes... once it got going.
Go team you! Lmfao! Defiantly going to go watch ChromeSkull back to back now. Always was considering watching but now I'm motivated to. Cheers to The Walking Dead : ) coming back on soon hopefully along with the release of their next issue. Oh and The Experiment dominated. Surprised you didn't say Adriens nose and Whitakers eye lol
@Frallon - Thanks! It's a good thing to watch them back to back as one literally picks up where the other leaves off. The new issue of Walking Dead (#93) just released today. I'm still waiting for Volume 16. I was blown away to see Rick and Andrea hook up. And I'm glad Carl pulled through. = ) Krys was so focused on Brody's nose she never even noticed Whitaker's weird eye. LoL!! Good call! = )
@LordAndrev - Thanks! Grave Encounters definitely borrowed form several other ghost flicks... but did so with an entertaining, and unapologetic bravado. The Experiment kicked so much more ass than I honestly expected. = )
@Jorgie0101 - Thanks so much! = ) I care... because now I must kill Brian Austin Green & brainwash Megan Fox into thinking that I played David on 90210.
@HdJony - Both are gory & definitely worth the watch. Sion Sono always rocks! We put off watching it as well, which was definitely the wrong thing to do. The spfx crew of L2R needs to get more work in the industry as they never disappoint. = )

@DramaMoviezScalpel - She's a doll. Like I said in this rundown, she's a horror hottie, sure, but I'll always view her as a horror sweetheart.

the experiment was based on a true experiment that took place in Harvard University in the 70's. scary stuff. great review as always

@crestfallen999 - Thanks! It's insane what passes as an experiment.
