FARC is a colombian problem men. they started it and they have to finish that shit soon. I think Colombians are going to keep fighting for another fifty years because PARAMILITARES and Guerrilleros make money by selling drugs. Paramilitares are in power in Colombia and they do not want stop fighting because Uribe and his "friends" are drug dealers and killers.

I feel ambivalent about Correa's alleged affiliatioin with las FARC. He is a very smart man, and i believe that he is doing great things for Ecuador. Yet, I cannot understand why he chose to have links with las FARC. Whether Correa has anything to do with las FARC is still to be determied. Yet, what has me worried is the fact that, as always, the United States will use this as an excuse to overthrow the government, and to impose its hegemony on the country.

You should feel ambivalent about the media.

What exactly is the FARC? What leverage does the FARC have and what is it's infrastructure? These are key questions that the media has convoluted and unsubstantiated responses for.

In my opinion, Correa is articulate and impassioned. However, this world is all tangled up and in exposing corruption you have to compromise. When Correa compromises, the corrupt media will be ready to attack and the terrorist rhetoric will be in effect yet again.
