Yeah, I think when this best of aired in early 1995, it was MTV's way of letting the fans know that Headbangers Ball was indeed going off the air. I think it was in the best of 94 episode that Riki voiced his opinion about why the show was doing bad in the ratings and how it was not as popular as it was before the whole grunge invasion took off. Yeah they really screwed Riki over by not having him host a final episode of the original show. This was the beginning of the end for rock music on MTV!
