  • Out of respect for the animal, you shouldn't LAUGH after killing it. This and similar videos are not true hunting, just target practice with live animals. With these long-range shots, it's always unclear if the animal is ever retrieved, since you were too lazy or out of shape to stalk it in the first place.

  • @Antithropocentric Are you kidding me?? I get the impression that you have never made a 500 yard shot before. That deer had more of a chance of living from that shot due to the difficulty of making the shot than it would have if they had been 50 yards away. And I would be willing to bet that the hunters you saw in this video did not let the kill go to waste. I understand your respect for animals and all, but being a passionate hunter AND shooter, I can vouch that we have morals as well.

    Rock River did, The gun was built by GAP chambered in 308 22" barrel if I remember right, with a Leupold Mark 4 mounted on it.
