  • A king tiger tank would throw 1 shell into that and pwn it.

  • Seht euch die Macht Deutschlands an!! :)

  • Klaus: Hey Jodl, watch your arms scwienhunt! you'll get caught in the loading system!

Jodl: I will I wi- UAARRGHHH! *arm is twisted and broken, rammed into the howitzer cannon barrel and severed by the closing mechanism.*

Klaus: what did I tell you Jodl...

  • It looks awesome, and that's all that counts.

  • @Oceanic180 youre pretty stupid then

  • clever design! fast replenishment, fast loading, fast firing, super badass

  • Germans is better at making weapons, than Russia.

Russia, is making cheaper weapons, while germany is making more balanced and fine weapons.

  • @MrCreepyKelly

Actually...Russia makes cheap weapons, why Germany makes expensive, efficient and high-tech weapons.

  • It's almost the same as my country's Self Propelled Artillery.

  • Yeah German*********.

German are the best Fuck Russia

  • Another tale of Americans ... The world's best, such a system - is a Russian MSTA-S! And this German cow - only to scare cowboys;))

  • @silvermitriy fuck russi germany the best

  • Archer is more advanced and it can fire the exalibur round. So the swedes win again :D

  • @MrBoomheadshot90 But it has a lot of disadvantages!

    So Sweden definitely doesn't win!

  • @Mr Boomheadshot90 but the excalibur round costs a shit load to make so you can't expect them to be in massive numbers, there's a time when accuracy is needed and there's another time when heavy firepower needs to be brought down fast

  • like bicycle!

  • there is a reason american crews don't like the automated system and that reason is mainly because the extra crew member really helps out especially when your pulling fire watch for 14 hours at a time for one month straight.

  • freizing

  • Ze germans still know how to make some fearsome armor.

  • Mirkava

  • Why can't the loading be completely automated?

  • The germans sure brought us some cool warstuff. !

  • sad future weapons didnt do a part about the russian 2s7pion

i know its pretyt old and almost unpractical now they have things like this in the 21st century but its kinda unique and its more devastating per round

  • fully automatic ?

yea, let it work without guys and it woud be

exualy i notice a few things on this thing that coud be improved

like the thing that can cut youre hands of...

i dont know, but that souds pretty dangerous

  • @13thmistral

Problem is that you not only have different shells but also different amounts of charges.

Doing that fully automatic hightens the complexity which would probably not be possible

    without completely redesining the vehicle.

About "dangerous": A weapon system is always dangerous to it's own crew if supposed to be dangerous to it's enemy. That's why they train over and over. And due to the fact that this thing is not shooting out of movement, the danger to a trained crew is limited.

  • @rockyblacksmith i notcied that

    thats for mrsi i think

though dude, you know they have something like autoloaders

and the archer artillery system is fully automatic

only 2 people sitting in front of the verhicle, one driving, one controling the system

yea, but there coud be something that when the gap is kinda blocked, it just waits till its not

on such way, if such a system works fast enough and it just closes whenever the hand is out of danger, you coud also increase the rate of fire

  • @13thmistral

I know the Archer, which is a completely other approach to the problem,

that's why I said you'd have to completely redesign the vehicle. And, as always in military, you don't get the stuff for free, otherwise everybody would design their own archer. But if you have something that is not equal, but close to equal to your enemies weapon, apart from the tactics, the numbers count.

And if it would be possible to have a security delay of some kind, they'd have one. So I think it's not.

  • @rockyblacksmith i dont know, but if they can....

sometimes people invent something, and notice they coud have done better and sometimes even before the first released version is realy used, they make an update witch is better

    like the m16 and m16a1

  • good artillery but will it blend?

  • Is America's NLOS howitzer still going to be produced and fielded? I had read on other YouTube pages that it's been cancelled because of budgetary pressures over the past couple of years. If so, that's a real shame...the NLOS would give the PzH 2000 a run for its money for world's greatest and most advanced artillery piece. I hope for the Army's sake that it's still going to be built...the Paladin is a tremendous and reliable cannon but its getting older and older with each passing year.

  • @TheDarthEddie canceled for a long time dude

    buget problems

they realy have a hard time to go fucking further then the first fully tested prototype sometimes

  • Für eine Sekunde sah das so aus als hätte der Munitionskanonier bei 3:06 ein G3 auf dem Rücken :S

  • PZH2000 + Donar and Archer are the best !

  • The Archer is also an amazing cannon. I'd easily rank it in the world's Top 5. The US Paladin gets a lot of crap for not having an autoloader and being an older design (the very first M109 variant entering service all the way back in 1963) , but it's a terrific howitzer, especially given all the base-bleed and rocket-assisted projectiles like Excalibur that the system can fire out to 30-40 km or beyond. And the M109 and its variants are still used in lots of other countries, too.

  • 60 rounds down range in under 12 minutes....im glad they're on our side!

I wouldn't want to see the business end of this monster.

  • The NLOS cannon is the best

  • The four best SP howitzers in the world:

    1) PzH 2000 (Germany)

    2) M-109A6 Paladin (USA)

    3) 2S19 (Russia)

    4) AS-90 (Britain)

  • Bin Laden was killed with a bullet. Not artillery.

  • im surprised the thickness of the armour plating isn't confidential

  • Russian subtitles please

  • wtf.. this has less range, less rounds down range and less agile than the AS90...from 2000 that the British still use. The only thing it has, its 3 times the size making it a much easier target.../facepalm.

  • @TheRockomb 3 times the size?

wow never knew its over 21 metres long, 10.2 metres wide and has a height of 9 metres, it always semmed smaller (Sarcasm you know)

the Pzh2000 is faster, while being heavier

  • @Mizukageryu

Wow not only have you mastered retardation, sarcasm and taking things literal...but you also win the internetz.

  • nice joke dude XD

  • @TheRockomb your just jealous that it looks more badass -.-

  • @tropicthunder332

Yeah I'm jealous that its taller with a better view than my block window on base...you can see trees from the "2nd story" window on this puppy...but from the 5th floor on base... I can only see the carpark.

  • @TheRockomb im too tired to understand what you are trying to say. sorry

  • @tropicthunder332

taller than the building I live in...

  • @TheRockomb oh ´cmon it aint that tall. and artillery isnt a frontline weapon. it operates from distance. so you first have to get there.

  • wow if you are abit slow you would lose your arm

  • 1:00 INTENSE FACE!

  • @titykaka1 we Germany also have eurofighters and leopards Be scared........

  • inspite of the fact that the dutch government stripped our army from all its A2 tanks we at least still have 18 of these...

  • But England has challenger 2s and the eurofighter so when Germany wants to go for round 3...

  • germany i thought we said no more panzers lol

  • y does the charge have to loaded manually? wtf? it's not advanced at all...

  • @Startwindow3

Space - it really is as simple as that. Using the autoloading system you just can carry half of the projectiles and charges.

    PzH2000: 60 projectiles, 288 charges

DONAR: 30 projectiles, 145 charges --- Donar is able to shoot more than 6 rounds a minute, so after 5 minutes ... well *click click click* dammit, back to base ;-)

have a look at kmweg . de and see for yourself.

    ... and speed... Pzh2000 10rounds a minute

  • And the English could still kick your ass.

  • @MrMaf00 you still believe that shit, can you inform your pathetic ass once and for all and realize the russians and North america industrial might Won the WAR

  • @ericssson Im not saying we won WW2.If i was i would have agreed that without Russia and the US we wouldn't have won. I'm saying we could kick your ass now, just like in WW1.

  • muahahah....wer hats erfunden^^

  • @dennisisvet hahaha

  • the devil likes this vid and wepon

  • And just another thing...screw you France.

  • They always gets best. Car,chemistry, industry, etc what else they don't have?

  • @dansu92833 Atom-U-boats, we´re not allowed to build them :D

  • @Mizukageryu We are allowed to build them...there's just no need for them.

  • germany has the best machine

  • So...he supposedly to be a super bad ass navy seal....but why does he drive a mini van?

  • german !

  • Germans just build the beast...by 2025 garman navy will also be awesome...but tanks.small arms.training.doctorines...man.Germans are extremely adaptive...

  • MACH HOORAAH!

  • mythbusters is next guys!

  • for some reason germans seems to make shitload of awsome howitzers

  • @NoobSnoopyCheck out the Swedish "Archer"!!!! As a British former artillery soldier I must say that my friends would be alive if we had a few of those (Archers)

  • thumbs up if you think this guy is always out of breath

  • lol at 2:06

  • the upgraded WWII Elephant/Ferdinant Panzer?

  • How is that advanced? A guy have to feed the gun! It's not 1913 anymore...

Without being bias the swedish Archer owns this machine...

  • @zekatl The shell is auto loaded, but in order to achieve rapid firing they have to manually load the powder pack.

  • @mux020 Archer's rate of fire is 9/min, PzH2000 has 10/min, is this the difference?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but those are the numbers I found

  • @zekatl The commonly used data is that archer has a intensive fire rate of 20 rounds per 2.5 min but is also capable of three round burst firing in 15 seconds.

While PzH2000 has a intensive fire rate of 10 rounds per 56 seconds and 3 round burst in 9 seconds.

I can't say which is better just by looking at rate of fire; Archer can perform MRSI for up to 6 rounds while PzH2000 can only do 5. And lots of informations of the Archer system haven't been released yet.

  • @mux020 Ok thanks, so when it comes to rate of fire they're pretty similar, the difference sounds negligible...

But I guess our 24 ordered archers are nothing compared to e.g. Germany's three digit numbers...

  • the crusader piece is actually better but it cost 25 million a piece so that's its problem

  • omg how many soldiers will loose a limb in just operating this monster?

It is so dangerous that loading procedure. One mistake and its over :-x

  • @orlando318 no, actually not. the man only reloads the charge. Then he has to stand up again, and manually press a button to close it himself. They are also trained to only press that button with the right hand, the same he adds the charge.

  • yeah Germany still got the bigest gunz!!

  • Reminds me of that experimental tank in WW2.

  • why make something like this when you won't use it.

  • @simionen and what if you need one and do not have it ?

  • @zlimer18 why would I need one?

  • @simionen the germans allready use them in Afghanistan, not very often but they do.

  • Germany shall Rise Again!!!!

We shall begin by making schnitzel!!!

  • i like how he pronounces Gutentag as guddendog... just saying

  • @remmeltFNFAL yep i experienced it by myself as i wanted to eat a pizza in england with a friend ^^ as we said that we are from germany, the steward said the same guddendog ^^

  • Hell yeah these are the ones the Dutch army uses they kicked some ass back in afghanistan:D

  • Germany is in NATO - zeeee best ally of Russia!

  • At last they built their ultimate Panzer....... a modern day MAUS.

(to smartasses.... i know this is a self propelled howitzer and the MAUS was a heavy tank.... they are made for different purposes.)

  • @9SpeedKill6 Du dumme Nuss...

  • @:59 I can't think of any problem that can't be solved with a... Really.... BIG..... GUN!

  • @LUKE070069 world H1N1, global warming, starvation, etc... plenty of things cant be sloved with a big gun lol

  • @Spindel01 Global Warming Blow up place causing global warming, starvation, If you kill the people starving then starvation isn't a problem... and i have never heard of world H1N1 :|

  • @STEPHENDANERD H1N1 = that so-called swine flu "epidemic" that was suppose to wreak havoc on the world population... yeah, the big gun will take care of that, too! ;-)

  • I hope that we become good allies with russia

  • @MrTrubbaboy To get protection from Russia From this german artillery? Or if you're German to work with the Russians?

  • @MrTrubbaboy yeah, like you were in 1939 parading together and holding hands :)

  • the perfect hit and run weapon/tank !!!

  • I can see why the general loves it. If you've got a long-service, highly trained army, and you're only ever going to fight short wars, it's da bomb.

    But.

It ain't simple. There's a lot to go wrong, which is compounded by having fewer of them. Lose one because the hydraulics went down, and you've lost a higher proportion of your firepower. Same if somebody gets excited and forgets to take his hand out of the breech. And I bet they cost four times in machine time what a simpler system does.

  • biggest motherfucker i've ever seen

  • O.O

The Germans do it again, and im not surprised.

  • @kop4321 what do you mean?

  • @kop4321 what do you mean?

  • @BenAranMetroidkiller Germans made the best of something.

    again.

  • @kop4321 what a luck, i thought you meant that in relation to WW 2....

  • @kop4321 You do a racist comment and no one is surprised.

  • @Hakktes This is not at all, Germans make some of the best cars, best firearms, and the world best tanks.

Stop being a tool, never once did I say anything racist.

  • @kop4321 ;) we are bad asses ha:)

    greetz from a PROUD german!

  • Arrghhh! It's pants jizzing technology!!!!

  • It's a very good example of contemporary german military doctrine. Stay very far away from the fighting and if they come for you, get away as quickly as possible.

The government mostly likes to assist allied nations in military opperations, but the country is extremely pacifistic, so we focus on recon and artillery.

As long as the soldiers stay very far away from the enemy, you can sell the whole opperation to the people. But please no german soldiers next to dead people. ^^

  • yeah the Germans have all the gear but no idea!

  • Germany make the best military war machines & weapons today:

    -BEST MBT:(Leopard 2A7)

    -BEST IFV:(Puma)

    -BEST SPA:(Pzh 2000)

    -BEST ASSAULT RIFLES:(HK 416 & HK 417)

    -BEST LIGHT MACHINE GUN:(MG4)

  • Germany are the best when it come to tech. They created the first Assault Rifles, Self Propelled Artillery, Stealth Technology, Rockets, RPG, Night Vision, and jets.

  • The Dutch had 19 surplus of these, and Australia was thinking of buying them... dont think anything came of it though! Dam...

  • @sage1119 i agreed though since the bought the leopard 2a6 and german offcially aprrove the canadians to upgrade to their kind of standard .

  • orgasmus...

  • So why not design it so the charge is loaded with the round? Then you cut out the need for a loader in your crew

  • @PaintSniffer07 Because you don't want to store them in the same volatile package. Shells usually don't go off by accident these days. However, I believe that the charges are much more likely to go off accidentaly, and they have enough power to get the shells going off. If a charge explodes inside a tank or mobile gun, it'll probably still kill the crew, but it should greatly increase the safety in depos.

  • @Yora21 fair enough, thanks for your input

  • I'd feel a lot safer with one a them in the garage

  • good for leading a charge against enemy bases.... concertina wire is a trivial matter ot this thing.

  • i thought germany isnt allowd to have an army

  • @AVIV222 lol this was after WW1 .... and even then germany was allowed to build a small army

  • @AVIV222 Oh it was a REALLY long time ago. In 1955 the "Wiederbewaffnung" (rearming) started and the german "Bundeswehr" was established.

  • @AVIV222 How about reading newspapers or watching news sometimes? xD

  • @AVIV222 Between 1945-55 it was.

  • @AVIV222 be happy that germany has an army. otherwise modern combat wouldnt be the same and a lot harder and more dangerous.

  • I. Awesome. beg. machine got.

  • Can you sell to Thailand, we will destroy all weapon junk tank of Cambodia which made from China, and Can we pay by installment within next 30 years n____n

  • Great! Now we have a lot of ways on how to destroy one another.

  • Megalomania much?

    hitler would be proud

  • I hate that bald guy.

  • And yet... 500 years later and we got shitcake tanks. WTF.

  • Only the Germans would be nuts enough to let an American drive! ;v)

  • @GBMairsoft it wouldve been crazier to let an asian drive.

  • @GBMairsoft well he's a navy seal im almost sure he can drive anything with an engine

  • wow this is an awesome howitzer! I was in the u.s. army on the M109A6 paladin and as good as that may have been...damn this is a sexy self-propelled gun. i love how fast they can secure from a fire mission and be moving. i think the fastest we went per round using the hydraulic loader maybe around 20 to 25 seconds. the germans clearly have a superior mobile howitzer compared to the united states by a considerable degree. just like their 88's the krauts have done it again.

  • dis fuk deadly invented....but F35 super killer

  • "Really... BIG.... GUN.." I Bet he jizzed after he sayd that.

  • Skrew you! you dont have anything against swedish artillery!

  • Wir hams halt drauf :-D

  • @arthemes jap das war schon immer so :D

  • why would artillery need to reload under fire?

  • The breech door is controlled by the loader with a switch located on the left side of the gun there is no danger involved unless he is really confused.

  • @5687678 true... you could see him smack two separate buttons before each motion of the load process (i had to watch it a few time to make sure - he was quick)

  • It's an expensive unit that's extremely heavy. Extra training is necessary to operate this complicated machine. The more moving parts a piece has the more likely it is to have a breakdown. It is an impressive unit none the less.

  • When you look similar programs on the given channel there is such sensation that in Russia anything good, except Aka 47, Т 34 and planes of times of the Vietnamese war, any weapon more and haven't invented

  • if the 88mm in 1942 is good, THIS IN 2010 is absoluty BULLSHIT.

P.D.: this look like a hummle.

  • it said "next: mythbusters" i wonder what myth they're testing today...

  • Yea, well, it all looks good and it performs great, but I wouldn't want to be inside when an AH-64 Apache or an A-10 acquired it as a target!!

  • is this a tank or aterillery

  • @nesso10 mobile artillery

  • @nesso10

It's an artillery gun mounted on a tank chassis. Panzerhaubize translates to "Tank Howizer".

  • Wonder when the USA will be able to top that lol

  • @spain214 Don't need too. The USA ownes the air.

  • @IVANGROZNEY k that's wrong. anyone who thinks air power alone can substitute for good artillery is completely wrong. not saying air power doesn't have its uses but even today artillery is invaluable on the battlefield. they call it the king of battle for a reason. how do you think we stopped the Chinese army eventually in Korea in the 50's? by taking hundreds of howitzers from 155's to 105's and laying down a curtain of steel and death. can air power do that?

  • @Rimasta1 Maybe not in Korea but they sure as hell did around Kashan. The US cancelled it's last mobile artitery up grade because of being an out dated concept ment for the Soviets. The MLRS cancels any counter battrey theats.

  • @IVANGROZNEY But even in Vietnam artillery was priceless. We set up fire bases all over South Vietnam to provide quick and devastating fire power anywhere. but yes at Khe Sahn when fighter-bombers and heavy arty weren't keeping NVA tunneling efforts at bay the air force for the first time used B-52's in very close air support. in the words of one marine "i thought the president had gone insane and started using nuclear weapons." its hard to top multiple Arc Lights.

  • @Rimasta1 I can't remember the name of the one the US canceled. I think the new NLOS has something on this.

  • @IVANGROZNEY Not really; it's dangerous to assume that you'll always have perfect overhead imaging intel - which is what you'd need to counter an arty threat before it can open fire. Also, MLRS take a while to set up. By the time you're shooting, a well-trained PzH2000 battery will have completed its fire mission and moved outside the MLRS footprint.

That's not even going into response times, which is what really counts.

  • @CoriolanusAtrox MLRS fires 30 seconds after it stops. The 8 inch rockets have a range of 20 miles and drop 13 times the bomblets of a 155 each. The new NLOS makes this german 155 look out of date.

  • @IVANGROZNEY The PzH2000 can complete a Battery-5 fire mission in under ten seconds.

Can the MRLS fire terminally guided weapons to deliver precision fire - just one round to take out one building rather than a salvo levelling an entire village? What's the cycle time? You know, fire a salvo, move, reload be ready to fire again?

It's not always about massive destruction, especially not in CoIn warfare.

  • HOLYSHIT

  • I feel like pointing out that this is not a tank. It's an artillery gun. A barrel like that would be a little bit... annoying on a tank.

  • Als Maschinenbau-Ingenieur und Büchsenmacher hab ich hier so meine eigene Meinung!!!

  • ich liebe Deutschland aber ich finde sie haben einfach zu viel Angst das sie wider schlecht dastehen.

jze ehrlich was sol man mit tausend So
