The radiation tabs are worthless and way to expensive. all you need is a tablespoon of iodine salt a day. the tilapia pool is a good conversation piece but would do nothing in a real event but give you a little food. the gas masks are nothing more then Halloween costumes. The house is right in the middle of other residents. What about water? Feraday boxes? protection of the home?

Storing food supply is a good idea but the green house isn't for the catastrophe they're expecting. The earth magnetic field would be very weak together with the ozone layer issue. The gamma radiation would kill almost every living thing expose to it. I don't see any protection in the green house for that. We just need to be prepare mentally for this type of things since we'll have to face death at some point. Death is a natural thing and it's pointless to fear it. We do exist beyond the flesh.

The difference between a "have" and a "havenot" is one slice of bread, a blanket, a cup of fresh water or a good knife etc... . You don't have to have much to be a "have". What does anyone have that another person would try and take it from them? Maybe even your worn out shoes. If nothing happens in their lifetime maybe their children or grandchildren will be thanking them later for some of the supplies they stocked.

Storing food supply is a good idea but the green house isn't for the catastrophe they're expecting. The earth magnetic field would be very weak together with the ozone layer issue. The gamma radiation would kill almost every living thing expose to it. I don't see any protection in the green house for that. We just need to be prepare mentally for this type of things since we'll have to face death at some point. Death is a natural thing and it's pointless to fear it. We do exist beyond the flesh.

I do believe in reasonable vigilance & diligent, industrious preparation for lean times; however this is how I feel about the ~extremist~, selfish 'survivalist' types: Matthew 16:25 - "For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake, shall find it." And the reason they have gone public, is because they're boastful: Proverbs 27:1 - "BOAST not yourself of tomorrow: for you know not what a day may bring forth." And they prep for 2012 - not for 2011? LOL

To join together with good strong people that are preparing like I am for any sort of disaster not for DOOMSDAY but for whatever may befall us whether it be natural or man made. I never said I would loot him, but believe me, if this guy is one of the only ones with power and food and water he will be found that's why he needs to network with others.
