What is most sad about academic publishings, think tanks, and universities is not the funding but people automatically believe anything said by a so-called scholar or a person who has many credits to his name but that doesn't mean that the university or the person cannot be bought. And because the average person won't question the source, then it must be true.

@votumseparatum1 And it also doesn't guarantee the material is well researched. i've read documents by academics that are so opinionated that the only reasons they get taken seriously is the academic credentials of the author.

A think tank is an organization that receives its funding from the huge tax free foundations run by the Rockefeller Cartel. The think tank employees people who use a wide range of methods to influence government policy and the attitudes of the public. When you watch discussion shows on television the participants are largely financed by think tanks. Often the think tank is listed under their name like the Hoover Institute, CFR, NEA, etc...

Basically a brainstorming group of professionals - highly knowledgeabe in their fields. A lot of people think they're always corrupt, but like any area of life there are good and bad ones out there. Some of their publications read like propaganda pamphlets while others are very informative.
