Spor uses Fruity loops mate. Although I personally prefer cubase over anything and think Fruity loops is a bit shit you can obviously do alot in it cause Spor is amazing. Not sure if Nero uses it though.

I am actually using FL at the moment but still think Cubase is better just using a shit laptop that can't run Cubase and can just about run FL.

I don't think FL is shit quality wise just don't like the layout and other stuff in it.

End of the day all DAW's are good if used correctly and none are really better than others.

OH, I thought you meant it's shit/useless for making music with. I don't like cubase because I don't find it very user-friendly. It's hard to set up a new song ( If what I got told to do at school is actually necessary.. ) and I don't like how everything is sheet music. I like how with FL, you can pick it up and basically make a song with little to no musical knowledge.

Nah I do rate FL, like I said Spor uses it so even though my capabilities with it aren't that great it can be used to create amazing things. I like the music sheet layout that it's got and just having the track layout and everything all one page is easier for me.

Trust me, i have been using FL for years(For both electronic and metal music.), but ever since i switched over to other software i wouldn't go back for tracking real instruments.

@notuern Using it for years does not mean you're good at it. There are plenty of artists who use it not just for electronical music and knowing workarounds for things like that come with experience. All DAWs are good if you know how to use them.

I never said that it wasn't good.. its just not suited for tracking or editing.

The only workaround for editing in FL is to use an external software, in which case you are using two daws instead of one that could do everything instead(Cubase for instance.).

What you are saying is that its possible to cut wood with a table knife.. and yeah sure, table knifes are fucking great if you're eating dinner, but to cut wood i personally would prefer to use a saw.
