i gotta say from the whole palladium series rifts was by far our favorite there were 30 of us and we would meet up in my apt in the bronx living in 183 st which was really bad at that time still is lol and we were advent d&d heads but rifts was the shit we had a blast lol i miss those days i was in my early teens now im 35 :( time flys bummer....but i love the world of rifts nice trailer guys....keep it up

It's based on a roll playing game where the world gets nuked. Portals to other worlds called rifts open. The people fight aliens, monsters, and mutants. Using magic, guns, and robots. This is a mix of those things to help make the movie.
@booprop63 wrong nuke most likly go of but the reason the earth is ripped apart is the mana(majic) comes back too the earth ley line nexus points form. forest grow in a instant and rip though citys, quakes, title waves, then worst of all yes rifts form let dbees and monsters though in our world.
@LabRat4680 i agree though this world is so massive i like too see it as a tv seirs and that has too start cheap. then take profits and put it in to cgi or effects like star trek did. So in sort they need a great writer to start slow and build up. maybe some little town outside of norther gun.
@darknight4409 yes though a high budget movie maybe a nice start money for a sires spin off. Though at least rifts would be original from all this remake crap out there.
If Kevin Siembieda told Jerry Bruckheimer to get off of his ass and get this going (like he was supposed to like 8 years ago), Kevin's books would fucking sell like mad when half of the world has seen his movie.

Rifts is the greatest RPG ever. The subject matter makes up for any GM shortcomings. Though I was introduced to RPG on Rifts with a great GM. Seimbeida is a dckwad. But he hit a home run with this game. These hurtsquad trailers capture the true soul of RIFTS. RIFTS FOREVER! Wish I could game with you guys!

@side1981 to be honest. I only use them as a very VERY rough outline to some areas and in others I completely ignore the books and rewrite it for myself. Like I easily half the populations in all settings.

Very nice! I especially like the opening sequence with the end of the world as we know it. It provided a good feel for The Great Cataclysm and the rebirth of a new world.
Good job!!! Only thing really missing are Glitter Boys. I would have worked the Alien Intelligence at the end of Hell Boy in. The Hell hound in Chronicles of Riddick. Giant Harvester robot from Terminator Salvation. Creatures from Alone in the Dark.
