my ears need more food like this. anyone know of some other electronic artists who like to use strings, piano and symphonic ambience in this vein? more raw natural / organic sounds. My ears are getting tired of the usual metallic taste of electronic music.
Saw him 2 years ago @ Dour Festival and immediately bought Body Riddle.
Was initially a bit disappointed by his Turning Dragon album, since it's style is totally different, harder, with serious techno influences, but it's certainly not bad :)

its sad but true. most of the so called big ones of idm and electronica just show what they they can do trough "glitches"... venetian snares as an example or autechre... they miss complete the emotions and the soul of everything... - Röyksoop - also are better because they have soul in their great music... björk is cool...
sorry but "Clark" is the only one who really has soul in his idm braindance experimental music. call it how you want... idm is a stupid word.. its at the end all about mindmusic... use your mind to do awesome phantasic things... clark is my favourite one... he´s so much better then aphex twin & autechre and venetian snares
i'd have to agree with you. Clark's tracks fro Body Riddle are full of emotion, kind of remind me of Dj Shadow or Portishead. With a twist. Glitchy music is fun to figure out but not many artists can combine both complex and souful melodies. Clark did just that on Body Riddle.
Yeah. Now were you say it - Clark sounds a bit like a more abstract version of Portishead. Now imagine this amazing lady from Portishead singing to the musical art from Clar... woow!
@konjunktion26 Love this tune, and hope to find more of similiar tunes. I agree. "Intelligent" dance music is a very arrogant and ridiculous name for a music genre... I hate music genres, and all useless quarrels about them.
love the ambiguous title... like, is he musically presenting Matthew in his unburdened state, or is it simply a statement that Matthew has unburdened himself, and this is his musical celebratory?
This song is the soundtrack to LSD therapy.

I used to really dislike this album apart from "Ted", but I've recently listened again and I think that it's awesome.

This song is nothing at this sound quality. One of the few albums that NEEDS to be either FLAC or at least 196kbps.
