This is the PC version, according to different gamesites like Gamereactor, gamespot etc Journalists convinced crytek to explain whitch format it was on at first they didnt say then they admittet it was a pc version with a 360 controller so those versions wasnt shown at E3, still the game looks gorgeous and hopefully the story and gameplay is thigt aswell, we all know that sound and grafics will be the best:)

You may not have that mentality (which I applaud you for), but there are a lot of people who don't want anything to do with a game if they feel it's inferior to another platform. It may not seem like a lot to you, but when it's your product you're selling, you don't want to disappoint -- even if it's only 10 people.

@blackjack3579 Try this: If someone offers you the choice between two beautiful cars, both *exactly the same* under the hood, but one has a ground fx, tinted windows, nicer wheels, z-rated tires, etc., which one are you going to want? People obsessed with looks will want the latter. PC will allow people to upgrade how this game looks AND performs and that makes all the difference in the world to some people (just having the option) and they'll shell out the cash for it. Not all, but some.

Crytek are perfectionists and the reality of it is that this game will still look great on consoles. All I'm saying is that Crytek doesn't want to offend a single console gamer by saying, "we've chosen to make the PC version have the capacity to look and perform noticably better." That wouldn't bode well for their bottom line.
