when i did this musical it was extremly hard for me, altho after taking voice lessons and practicing alot...it gets alot easier....oh and break a leg in your auditions, what part are you auditioning for?

its not a bad musical. i think you would enjoy being in it and rachel lynde is a GREAT roll espesically if you like being kind of a mean character...dont worrie everyone loves her in the end. personally i say gor for it...audition for mrs lynde

i would like to thank everyone for taking the time to comment and express their thoughts...and i would just like everyone to know that i have been taking voice lessons and they are helping a great deal also we did get a new accompanist. so hopefully this years musical will be much better

So the costumes are great, the set is beautiful and since this is clearly not an art school your voice is at least in tune. But seriously, I have to ask, how could your school not hire A REAL ACCOMPANIST? Who the hell is at the piano and why aren't they playing what's written in the score? Seriously, if you're going to put this much money into production that at least pay $20/hr extra for someone who can actually play more than chords. And the added key change mid way through? Seriously? Ouch.

People are a little harsh on here...true, you have some issues with tone, and placement, but your pitch is good, you're musical, good rhythm. Get with a good teacher and spend a lot of time on TONE. Learn first where a beautiful note should sit in your voice.
