What does the accept or decline has to do with the players profile? Does it have to be windows live ID, because I seen a friend put his email from yahoo and his password. It worked while I tried my email and didnt work for me, but I was it has to do with my password. Help?

@idintorres Thats the whole point about this update. To stop pirated/illegal games from being played. (not in a douche statement) But i clearly explained that in the description. But if you live off the pirated games and you have a hacked/modded xbox with a cd driver that's not default then your maybe screwed. But just buy the games officially (of course) from now on.

@TheGB120 You cant remove updates from this because this is like a WHOLE new firmware update, also on top of that if you have you own custom CD/DVD Driver and you burnt games (illegally download) then yes you will be having this problem, and to resolve this you have to start buying official games. Now if you driver is legit from xbox and the driver is stock, call up xbox and ask them for a replacement, if they try to charge you like 100$ or some Bs say i herd IGN you will give a free replacement

But when you call up microsoft dont tell them you got the open tray problem (because they will try to charge you like over 100$ to get it fix) Just tell them that your xbox dont read games because of the update. Then you should get a new xbox after you send it in. :)

@poisenpotato123 The glitch is not fix yet but the whole progress for this new frimware is to clear and un falsh all hack or custom xbox's that read burnt games. It also clears and cancle USB mods so if you play burnt game thoese games wont work any more. But you can still play offical game. ;]

@Eminemflocka if you update it will remove your flash, meaning you will not be able to play burnt games anymore. If you try to reflash your xbox, you will end up on a ban list. If you really want to keep your flash then just wait for a new flash upgrade.

@thetargetman100 seems like some E47 Error maybe, also on top of that call xbox to see the problem, im also surprise people is still getting this update, because my cuz just got it the other day, ON top of that xbox is "Charging" people 20$ to replace there xbox's. But hay bill gates is become gabe newell slowly.

@TheGB120 You cant remove updates from this because this is like a WHOLE new firmware update, also on top of that if you have you own custom CD/DVD Driver and you burnt games (illegally download) then yes you will be having this problem, and to resolve this you have to start buying official games. Now if you driver is legit from xbox and the driver is stock, call up xbox and ask them for a replacement, if they try to charge you like 100$ or some Bs say i herd IGN you will give a free replacement

it just wont let me update it reads my firmware when its uploading and gives me an error code that means my firmware ,software has been tampered and refuses i heard i need to flash to stock first update and then to LT+v1.9 i have that firmware just dont knw how to do it my drive is liteon 74series, need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@dakingedward07 First off i dont know the fuck what your talking about seconded Yes you do need a "Flash From Stock" thats the only way that the xbox can read the OFFICIAL driver if you have it still uninstall your flash driver and put in your stock one if you throw it away they your completely fucked and usb flash mods are cleared too On top of that if you do have a "Stock" driver and that message is poping up just call microsoft and they should help you or give you a new one as IGN said 4 Free

hi i got the update about a week ago and it seems to of caused games not to work. it plays all old games fine but anything new like Dragon Age 2 just wont work. i dont get an error code only open tray then reading for a brief second. can i still contact ms about this? thanks in advance

But when you call up microsoft dont tell them you got the open tray problem (because they will try to charge you like over 100$ to get it fix) Just tell them that your xbox dont read games because of the update. Then you should get a new xbox after you send it in. :)

@poisenpotato123 The glitch is not fix yet but the whole progress for this new frimware is to clear and un falsh all hack or custom xbox's that read burnt games. It also clears and cancle USB mods so if you play burnt game thoese games wont work any more. But you can still play offical game. ;]

@xE1x1LuSiOnZz009 Well, from the looks of it maybe console or just account ban but thats like a small percentage but they are tracking flashed drives for burnt illegal games...i use USB mods so i think thats why they scan my 360 :P (im scared to plug back in my mod stick :/ ) Also dont worry about that much of the "Console Ban" part my friend said they have to be in the game in order for them to ban you off of XBL. But when you get your jtag can i join :)

Are you sure that Microsoft will replace the console badboyg316. I have a console with a disk drive that was fixed outside of Microsoft (those crooks wanted over 100 bucks for their open-tray error). Im hearing that in Microsoft Tos, they are currently refusing to replace systems that have NOT been repaired by them. I get the C000-0001 Error. Do you think a car dealer would refuse to perform further work on your car just 'cause you got it fixed at the local place once or twice. RIDICULOUS.

(who ever modded their xbox will understand my concern) Okay, i haven't updated my xbox yet, and my concern here is that my xbox is flashed (Hitachi drive flashed with 1.51 firmware) now i heard people we're getting screwed left and right, when they put their burnt game in it says "play dvd"... to be honest i don't do much gaming, i usually just go on to talk to friends, now with this update, will my whole xbox get banned? or can i at least still sign onto xbox live.

@Eminemflocka if you update it will remove your flash, meaning you will not be able to play burnt games anymore. If you try to reflash your xbox, you will end up on a ban list. If you really want to keep your flash then just wait for a new flash upgrade.
