Ed Roth is my hot rod hero. I remember those monster hot rod trading cards in the 60s. He was the first to put artwork on t-shirts in the 50s. He was the first to use fiberglass on cars. He came out with the first chopper magazine. "Big Daddy" R.I.G. (rest in grease).

i bought as many of these kits as i could when they were reissued in the early 90's, the "wierd-ohs" too..some got put together and replaced, others linger in my closet.i grew up in buena park.. used to see ed roth on either his 3 wheelers or in his honda which he parked near bud hurlbut's offices across from knott's.

Rat Fink! Oh heavens above! In the mid 60s we lived in Lincoln, England (I'm English), I was into the Beach Boys and Jan and Dean, bought every drag racing magazine I could get hold of (very few!) drew Rat Fink all over the school walls along with Ed Roth lookalike stuff. I had no idea the Fink was still alive!

The world is a prettier place now I've learned that Rat Fink lives!!!!
