Hmm if guys like Callisto you should check out (in case you dont already know;) ) Isis, Cult Of Luna, A Swarm Of The Sun, Amen Ra, Aoria, At The Soundawn, Envy, Generation Of Vipers, Giant, Irreversible, Mouth Og The Architect, North, Swallow The Ocean, Tides, Year Of No Light etc :)

Man,you forgot Neurosis...the fathers of all this,and I also suggest Pelican,another strumental/doom band that is absolutely amazing,from his monumental music,to his deep and wonderful concept(titles,albums,covers).

Doom totally rules this sad world.I'm happy of it.

i totally agree with you but Neurosis, while being one of the "major players" in this "genre", is still very different from most of the bands. I also don't like them as much as I like ISIS or this band for example. Battle of Mice and Rosetta are a great recommendation.
