The reason they are stating their sexuality and why it isnt offensive is because the commercial had to be pulled. The reason it was pulled is that a group called the Commercial Closet rates commercial ads to determine if they are offensive to gays or lesbians and they felt that the use of the word Faerie was offensive and that the man turning into a more effeminate version was a stereotype of gays. Im a feminine gay man and I wasnt offended. Except that the commercial closet is obviously a joke.
