I was at the show at nissian pavilion an it was great to see steve an tom rock out together 2 rock icons on the stage at the same time playn 2 great songs it doesnt get any better
Winwood was on longer than the usual opening act? That's because he is Steve Winwood! Mike Cambell and Tom Petty knew they were on stage with a Rock and Roll legend.
yeah, hd74man, apparently we in the Buffalo area don't rate either...in Beantown, Phillie and MSG, they performed together on at least 3different tunes...although they were great, I think we got gyped outta that.....
I was at this show and honestly I wished we would have gotten the extra Petty tunes instead of Winwood doing a few on stage with them. Winwood had at least an hour set, which was really long for an opening band and then to have him play more songs during the headling band was a bit dissapointing. I think I would rather have had more Tom Petty tunes personally.
You gotta be kidding!!! "Can't find my way home" is one of the GREATEST Rock and roll songs ever!!!!!!! Tom Petty was PROUD to jam with Steve Winwood,,,!!! A rock N roll ICON.
i was there and i thought the set was good but please do not get mad. i would have loved to see this song performed by 2 amazing people. otherwise a fantastic concert. tom never let's us down
The ticket holders for the Beantown show definitely got the better deal for the Tom Petty Mazzland concerts as Winwood did not perform on stage with Tom & the Heartbreakers at the Comcast Center in Mansfield. So, for those who made the Boston show, count your blessings 'cause it was a once in lifetime happening. And for those who live in towns where the Tom Petty show is heading-get your tix now! It doesn't get any better.
well some people might become jealous but i went to a concert at berkley and i had front row seats. the best part though was when he gave me his picks. yup he did.
This was at the Boston Garden, i was there! It was the highlight of my night to hear him sing this song live. Tom Petty...loved him and the fact that he shared the stage with Steve Winwood, not too many headliners do that these days!!
Great song. Winwood is the best!!!!

it's nice to see how Tom Petty stays in the background. no poser at all, he just seems to be happy to share the stage with Steve Winwood.

Best version of this song I've heard yet. I love the original, but it sounds better when not sung in falsetto. Wish I could have been there.

I'd have to say... Steve Winwood & The Heartbreakers has quite a nice ring to it.

I think it's cool of Tom Petty to step back and let the magic happen. That's a PRO!!
