@iphonekid178 Yes but the whole point is to unjailbreak, because usually this only happens when u unjailbreak. But that is another way, or what I would do is download any version of redsn0w and click extras then "fix recovery". Thanks for your tip

But you will lose everything because the only way to fix it is either holding the home button and power button at the same time then releasing them when it turns back on… (not losing anything) or restoring (losing everything) then just restore from the last back up. you might not remember backing it up, but there should be one saved on file. it will most likely be a very old back up though.

@gellynofficialvideo 1st plug ur device n the computer with itunes opened. then put it into dfu mode by holding down the power and home button for 10 seconds with the device on. then after 10 seconds, release the power button and continue holding the home button. this will put it in dfu mode. next, restore from backup,(hopefully she backed it up b4 or else she loses everything. it will restore from the most current back up possible). then let it restore. msg me if it doesnt work.i hv another way

@ipodtouchacker Well this is whats wrong with my iPhone4. When i turn it on, it goes to the connect to iTunes symbol, & no matter what i do, i cant seem to make it get passed that. I tried recovering, it doesn't work, i get error numbers when trying to recover, i'll fix one error then another error number comes up, i tried jailbreaking it, like the jailbreak process works and everything but the iPhone still boots up to the iTunes symbol. Would you happen to know anything about that?

@Eminemflocka ya thats what happened to me. i jailbroke it, then updated, then i got errors like 1600 and 3200 and things like that. then i found recboot and i was saved lol. but since its not working for you, try going on to ww w . blackra1n . com and download it for whatever u have (mac or pc) then use it. this is an old jailbreak program and since your on 4.1 i don't think it will jailbreak so it will get u out of recovery mode since it failed to jailbreak

@BINXfan518 yes i have a sim card in while doing this. if you unlocked it, u might not have signal but idk cuz ive never unlocked a phone, only jailbroke it. but when are you talking about having signal? during the connect to itunes screen? well, then no cuz that screen is like it being off, but when you restore it, yes you will/should have signal

@KanameKashita Yes u need to use the link. That's what I used. I guess I wasn't clear in the video, but I used recboot then made the video showing it worked. Don't do the restore and taking oit the sim card. Just download recboot (no virus that I found) and open it

@BlizzardGamification lol i had the same problem. i just wasn't clear i guess in the video. 1) put it into DFU mode by holding the power button for 7 seconds (while the phone is on) then continue holding the power and hold the home button with it for 7 seconds then let go of the power button and continue holding the home button for 10 seconds. this will put it into DFU mode. then restore from backup and then if that doesn't work, THEN you use the link in the description "recboot"
