thats AR config is bad ass what kind of ammo do you use on this?

@plenty2say ....the rifle has a low round count on it. I had some issues with it short stroking during it's virgin run. I have since fixed it and shot 100 rounds .223 federal bulk pack threw it with zero issues. I've yet to shot tula, since my club drill was rained out last Tuesday. I had 200 rounds of it to try out.

The compensator you have is a Battle Comp 2.0. You can tell by the grooves int the vent cut outs. It's designed to allow better venting of gas while using a suppressor. The 1.0 & 1.5 versions do not have the grooves. The best compensator on the market IMO.

@M1ASniper ...thanks man. I actually bought 99% of the parts and optics on sale and saved a lot of money. Took me 2 years to do it, but well worth the wait. I shot it recently and it was short stroking about every 5th round, so I reset the gas block a bit. Hope it works better when I shoot it tomorrow. Lataz cuz

@916deez ...thanks I think,,,,LOL Yes I spent a lot, but most stuff I bought on sale or at a discount and saved quit a bit doing so. I took me 2 years but I feel it's mostly finished. I just need a tac latch for the charging handle

@HYDE43210 ....It's really not that hard to do. If you can swing a small hammer with some what control you can build a AR. Get some decent punches and a huge strong ass vise, and your home free.

Thats a sweet build! How do you like the TRex rail? would it be too small for someone who has large hands?

@chanderson1 ......that is a good question. I consider myself to have large hands in the sense they are thick, but not really long, but with the AFG2 it's a nice purchase if you do thumb over the top style, which I tend to do with this set-up. I actually feel an AFG1 would be better for this rail since it has the side pieces on it to help match the curve of the rail. Hope that made sense. I'm cant find a FDE AFG1 at a decent price anywhere. Always sold out.
