After hearing the Everly Brothers and a-ha's rendetion of this song, I can't help but think I'm leaning towards a-ha's version as my preference to this song; and it's probably due to the fact that I had heard this version before the Everly Bros. version.

I still prefer the original, just due to the fact you can't beat an original. It can be a good version, and better in different aspects but the original is the best. Albert Lee does a nice cover of this, it's lovely. Nice to see people still respect the Everly Brothers.

@sTapleEVA Of course I realise a lot of covers surpass that of the original, I mean, there are even people that have made "Rebecca Black - Friday" sound pretty decent. What I'm saying is, even if it does sound better ~ It can never be as good as the original. The original is what inspired the cover, the original has the pure emotion of the writer (a lot of the time, if the singer is the writer), the original is what it should sound like. But I agree, I do prefer a lot of covers to the originals.
