  • Get to the choppa!!!

  • what type of toaster did you film this with

  • WANNA READ SOME DUMBASS COMMENTS???

FLICK THROUGH AND READ ANGEL77100'S COMMENTS, PROBABLY THE MOST STUPID PERSON ON THE INTERNET

  • @neftanotrumps I've only just stumbled upon your ridiculous comment! Who the hell do you think you are? I am a regular contributor to Wikipedia & only occasionally do I receive 'a corrective, questionable response' to an article I've put forward. Get down from your high horse.

  • @angels77100 just stop commenting mate! Nobody has agreed about anything you have said. Gervais created the office, if you dont know that then you are stupid!

  • @neftanotrumps I believe you mean 'Just stop responding'. The only reason I've returned here is to reply or respond. Seriously I made one comment & the rest have been responses.

  • yeh, piers morgan is an oily, thieving, lying horrible cunt. i'm gonna sit on the fence with this one....

  • Joan Rivers is top rate - the nearest thing the USA has to Ricky Gervaise :)

  • @simonxx386 without the humour, but respect for sticking it up for him

  • Thank God that cnut Piers Morgan is no longer in the UK... utter prick .. you yanks can keep him

  • @angels77100 also going back to the whole there are no stars in extras hhhmmm Sam Jackson, de Niro, Ben stiller, Kate winslet, Patrick Stewart, Orlando bloom,David Bowie,Daniel Radcliffe,Ian mckellen,, so hush ya gums minge

  • @Angels77100 u dick!!!!!!!!! The original and best office come out in the uk in 2000 and was written by gervais and merchant!! Fuck all to do with carrell which is why Ricky bitch slaps carrell and he just sits there and takes it cos gervais made carrell a household name!!

  • they'll understand our humour eventually, we just need to shuv it furthur down their necks ;)

  • Ricky Gervais definitely created The Office. Just Google it.

  • Piers Morgan is a two faced git

  • Why ask Piers Morgan..? He doesn't exactly represent the british public, and The Office was a British comedy created in 2001 that was then made in the US around 2007, I've been following Gervais since his radio shows, he's a comic genius :')

  • Was this filmed in a helicopter?

  • @marcohorowitz8 haha

  • this is why joan rivers is so popular in britian, because she gets british humour and her style of comedy is very similar to ours. to be honest, i thought ricky's jokes were quite tame. if you had jimmy carr or FRANKIE BOYLE hosting that award show, then you would really know what offensive YET brilliant jokes are! glad to see at least one american got ricky!

  • @samhilson Oh yeah! They should get Frankie Boyle to do it, then they`d be offended with good reason! XD

  • to americans that get COMEDY good on you! to others who are attempting to deface the humour and history of english comedy which brought you so much? - sort your life out! alot of your best comedy is adaptations of different works from around the world. And to the guy who said ricky gervais is known coz he "starred" in uk version of the office? HE co-created the office amongst other greats and you are probably so uncultured/ill informed that you dont even know who stephen merchant is!

  • Piers morgan is a lick ass anyway, he shits on anyone to try and look good.

  • Comment removed

  • @Stupidbitchlearn2 Gervais (whom most Americans have never heard of) was given the opportunity to further his career (whatever it is he does) by the good-natured American industry. I've only heard of him because I like to look beyond America for my humor to all the lesser known nations in Europe. The guys only creds is that he small, fat & sad. He'll never make it in comedy. 'When the Whistle blows'? Do me a favor!

  • @angels77100

I must have misunderstood the sarcasm in this, since Ricky has already made it in comedy. He's enormously successful already. Is there a higher degree of "making it" that he has yet to and will not attain? Doubt he's bothered.

  • @HandsomeNamed You are defending Ricky & that's cool. But to be honest with with, I personally didn't like the British version of the Office. His 'extras' was also dull as there were no stars in it apart from Robert Deniro, David Soul & Patrick Stewart. (all of them being American). Life's too short is an improvement on 'An idiot abroad', but the only decent comedy he ever did was the TV show 'When the whistle blows'. Is he havin' a laugh? Heh? Is he havin' a laugh?

  • @angels77100 Patrick Stewart is English.

  • @MaithSin What? Are you havin' a laugh? Is he havin' a laugh? Patrick Stewart is French. The captain of the U.S.S Enterprise is always American. He has to be an American so that the races in outer-space can understand him & take him seriously. Patrick Steward may have been born in France, but he spent most of his life in the USA training to be a captain. Don't forget that George Washington was born in England, but he was an American.

  • @angels77100 1. Patrick Stewart was born in England

    2. George Washington was born in america

    3. if this is meant to be a joke about star trek, you are probably the most unfunny person to write anything on the internet.

    4. If your not joking then get help.

    4.

  • @angels77100 I hope you are a troll but just in case you are not, Patrick Stewart is not French he is English and he has not spent most of his life in America, the character in Star Trek that he plays "Jean-Luc Picard is French. And George Washington was born in Virginia not England, you uneducated buffoon.

  • @angels77100 and when the whistle blows isnt a real comedy, it's a fake comedy within Extras that's deliberately supposed to be terrible, so if you think that when the whistle blows is the best comedy he's ever done then you are both stupid and have no taste. If you want a British comedy that would suit your pathetic tastes have a look at My Family, that load of hogwash should do the trick.

  • That little guy Gervais just aint funny. If this is what the Brits call humor they can shove it up their limey assholes. You'd think that little creep would be on his knees for having this opportunity to become better known, instead of throwing it back in our faces by insulting our celebrities. The guy's a fucking moron.

  • @angels77100 plank

  • @TKManUTD1989 If it weren't for his appearance in the British version of the Office. The little fat guy would be completely unheard of. I mean what real celebs do the Brits have? Seriously? The Spice girls Simon Cowell & Hugh Grant. That's it!

  • @angels77100 OK I'm not going to get into this argument with about which country has more celebrities for the simple fact that I have a life and it doesn't interest me. Plank!

  • @TKManUTD1989 You've got nothing to respond with period. That'll teach you to respect your betters in future you fucking common farmworker.

  • @angels77100 No english celebrities? Ok, who plays all your superheroes then?

  • @angels77100

But he WAS In the office, so what's your point? Every single actor, or any kind of professional, starts somewhere.

"If it weren't for their appearance in ______" applies to a great deal of actors. Thing is, they HAD that appearance and DID make it.

Your logic is as dull as your appraisal of comedians.

  • @angels77100 and you do realise that the British version of the office is the original version, and he didn't just appear in it, he wrote and directed it aswell, so he actually makes money off all the different world wide versions including the American one, and has so much money and influence in the entertainment industry it's hilarious. But you obviously are a fucking retard.

  • @Bot23 What the hell's your problem buddy? STEVE CARELL wrote the Office. Geez everyone knows that! Gervais appeared as Michael Scott in the 'BRITISH' version of Carell's 'The Office'. Trust me little dude, I've been following Gervais' career closely (ever since he bashed our stars @ the globes) & all his shows (apart from when the whistle blows) sucks. Check his new project about a midget called 'Life's too short'. It sucks. Yeah I'll check out that British drama you were talking about. Peace

  • @angels77100 You are either a comic legend or a complete idiot.

  • @angels77100 I'm not sure if you're joking or not but The office was written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant over a decade ago and Ricky played David Brent , There isn't a character called Michael Scott in it.He didn't 'bash your stars' he was just playing.Get a sense of humour .

  • @Deepred67 I suggest you re-watch it again sir. Ricky Gervais plays the part of Michael Scott from the original Office. Steve Carell went out of his way to bring Gervais to the attention of the American public & this is how he repays him? By bashing our actors @ the Globes? I'm disgusted by this little fat nobody's insolence, & you're the one who needs to get a sense of humor if you think Gervais is funny.

  • @angels77100 I dont know if you are joking or you are an absolute retard. The office was created by ricky gervais and stephen merchant in 2001. Ricky played a character called David Brent. In 2005 the US version was made that was based on the UK version. Also Steve Carrell did not write the show he only stared in it. He only wrote one episode in season 2. Look it up moron.

  • @nickdobson100 I don't know where you're getting this absolutely useless information from, but I'm going by what people tell me & through following the little fat guy's career. Gervais played Michael Scott in the British Office (Scott was a creation of Steve Carrell who played him himself in the original US version of the Office.) The British murdered their version of the office. I watched a few episodes & it was rubbish.

  • @angels77100 Actually Ricky Gervais created The Office, and it was very successful in the UK [I don't know whether it was watched in America or not, we have a different sense of humour in Britain that Americans and the like might not understand]. Gervais then subsequently sold the format to NBC.

  • @pommedepassionx Well we can't be sure about that Ma'am. Did Carrel create the Office first, or was it Gervais? Nobody knows for sure! I believe it's still 50/50 on who did actually create the Office. I have personally only watched a couple of episodes of the British version & thought it was a very poor interpretation of the original office. The guys playing the parts of Dwight & Jim are particularly weak & it's obvious the producers didn't study the American characters well enough.

  • @angels77100 oh you didnt know that Ricky Gervais created "The Office"? Well... He did! Now you can go to bed less retarded!

  • @drasteek Nobody knows for sure who created the Office little dude. I say it was Steve Carrell. Other's claim it was Ricky Gervais. Nobody knows for sure!

  • @angels77100 haha its obvious your taking the piss now buddy

  • @angels77100 Errrr...Ricky Gervais created the Office in the late 90's, he then offered the part of a David Brent-esque character to Carrel for the US version after auditioning him for it. Gervais absolutely coins it on both sides of the atlantic.

  • @LCStreetPhotographer I believe you're getting them both confused. (That's ok, everyone seems to be getting it mixed up lol) It was the other way around. Carrel offered Gervais the part of Michael Scott in the British version of the Office. The British ruined the characters Dwight & Jim. Seriously watch it & compare.

  • @angels77100 I'm getting confused about a series that my brother was involved in as a camera crewman? Doubtful . Series One of The Office was first broadcast in the UK between 9 July and 20 August 2001 and was written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant for subsequent production by the BBC. Its first airing was (unofficially in 1996) a full 9 years before the US version came into being. So come on what phoney made up source are you basing you "wrong" opinion on?

  • @LCStreetPhotographer Ok! I believe that you believe you're right. That's ok, I've no problem whatsoever accepting that. Lets just say we're both right. No one really knows for sure who wrote it, or where it was first broadcast. It's all cool. Peace little dude.

  • @angels77100 Like I said, my brother worked on the Original 9 years before the US version was even thought about. Besides:

    comedy.co.uk/guide/tv/the_office/

    Its all right there. lol.

So, best of luck with your copy and paste version of great British classic..as with everything, The Brits did it first :P

  • @angels77100 Glenn Daniels had this to say (shamelessly copied and pasted by me) :

"i'm eternally grateful to both Gervais and Merchant for allowing me use their work to bring the Office to the US . They did a hell of a job writing the Original "The Office" and provided a lot of input into helping select the right members of cast for the US version including the appointment of Carrel. ".

In fact Gervais very nearly didn't pick Carrel. So please, dont tell lies, ok.

  • @angels77100 So now can I can just ask you a question? Why do you feel it neccessary and lie? Seriously i've heard some lies but you need to be careful, lying about something people can easily check up on is plain stupid, making out that the US version of the office as the orginal and then making up lies that Carrel offered Gervais a role , when for starters Carrel didn't even write the US version, which by the way came out years after the Original The Office here in Britain. lmao

  • @angels77100 You`re wrong. The Office was co-written by Gervais and Merchant. The original was way better.

  • @kitty3309 I beg to differ ma'am. Sure they had their version of the Office, but it was based & made years after Steve Carell's original Office. They also tried to copy our version of friends with some trash called 'Neighbors'. Seriously I caught a clip of it on BBC America.

  • @angels77100 Really? Hmm. I`ll have to check. Neighbours is Australian isn`t it?

  • @angels77100 You are joking, right? Neighbours is an Australian soap that has been running for 20+ years, and has diddly to do with Friends. If anything, the British comedy series Coupling was more of an attempt at doing Friends. Anyone who honestly thinks Neighbours (it's not even a fucking comedy, it's a SOAP!) was like Friends then they're either a)joking b)a retard or c)both.

  • @angels77100 wow you need to pull the broom out of your ass and just relax. It called calling a big chip on your shoulder.

  • Piers is right about the oscars thing too, 5 fucking hours of celebrity's kissing other celebrities arses for acting in films like it's the hardest job in the world. Give me a break

  • This is why I love joan rivers, at least she gets it

  • well, if award shows are so "boriiiiiiiing" then why even have award shows at all?!

  • @marneebox to help boost people with already large ego's, saying gervais is an idiot, I mean cmon. Learn Sarcasm if you dont like it, tough shit!

  • ricky gervais is an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @marneebox And you like Harry Potter, so your opinion does not count.

  • Anyone who feels sorry for the celebrities that are the butt of a joke must remember this, to quote Ricky, "These are some of the most privileged people in the world". Why shouldn't they be made fun of. Don't your friends make fun of you? Next time you are paying a large bill, making ends meet , working hard, coming home late in the rain, picture these people with their servants, houses, jets, chauffeurs and then see if you feel sorry for them.

  • Shut up Pierce! Let Joan talk, she's much more interesting than you.

  • these freaks belong in the circus

  • Joan and Ricky are alike, aren't afraid to speak their minds and don't really care if they insult anyone. Best way to be really!

  • Joan Rivers is a seriously funny woman who was ahead of her time. 5 stars for her!

  • Joan Rivers has been on UK telly for a while now, and I reckon she speaks our language. I'm all up for giving her a UK passport.

  • THE TOURIST???? REALLY?

  • Hollywood is a joke. Award shows are jokes...its just another way to tell the already over paid "celebrities" that they are better then everyone because they have this stupid "award" for doing nothing.

I do not follow any "celebrity"...i could care less.

  • @cliffedward seriously ? ???

  • @cliffedward Or not... I see them all queuing up to be on his shows like 'Extras' and 'Life's Too Short'.

  • @5:25 Anderson: "I think Tim Allen was pissed."

  • I fucking hate Piers Morgan. He's a total brown-noser. "OOH HOLLYWOOD YOUR ARSEHOLE TASTES SOOOO GOOOOOOOODDDD"

  • Somebody put a rolling pin up Joan River's bottom at the very moment the wind changed direction.

  • Move away from the helicopter!

  • Glad atleast 1 American found this funny.

  • @RohRohToday WTF dont put race into this, Im american btw and everybody who thought it was offensive is a fucking moron. They're celeberties they already have money and fame they dont deserve, I mean everyone was laghing, until it was a joke about them. just like those assho9les who watch famly guy and laugh at jokes until its a joke offensive to them, then they bitch

  • @RohRohToday ya joan is cool, isn't she?

  • @RohRohToday wtf are you talking about? many americans found it funny.

  • oh god , piers morgan has disappeared up americas arse lol

he is such an arse licker ..... he makes me sick ......

  • Americans seem to forget there's a whole other world out there of people who aren't afraid of everything. Not just Hollywood, America is full of very pampered people, and that's largely what caused the recession. They believed they could have all the toys and gadgets and homes they couldn't afford to pay for. Now the people that lived within their means are bailing out the greedy. The truth might hurt and make you miserable first, but it will set you free.

  • @surfer53 as for you, not all is as it seems. i am poor. i work my ass off always have. i pay taxes. from what i see, many greedy corporations are ripping honest, hardworking, elderly, disenfranchised people off. no one is bailing me out of anything, those corrupt greedy motherf&*^&%s are destroying middle america. so many people homeless and discarded who do not deserve it, just so the rich can be richer. you don't live here, so pipe down. oh yeah, love ricky

  • @surfer53 What a dumb ass comment. It's celebrities that are pampered, not Americans. Most people thought he was terribly funny and that's why he went over so well on Letterman. It's just like Joan Rivers said "These people are so uptight". These were celebrities afraid to laugh and offend other celebrities. Europe's economy isn't going to be fairing well any time soon. Greece is broke, Italy is in bad shape. Portugal. Ireland. You criticizing the US is just ethnocentrism.

  • @1105Chance Well said. And thats coming from me, a British guy. Whoever criticised America is clearly ignorant with regards to current world affairs. Speaking as a mature University (Cambridge University) student studying for a BA (Hons) Politics degree, the EU, the US and now even China are in dire straits. Its the way of the world, no one can magically escape a world economic down turn. I'm a capitalist, but un-bridled capitalism is madness, as the global crisis has shown.

  • @surfer53 I am friends with a lot of educated Canadians and none of them spout out the dribble that you just did. As for American culture, there's a lot of similarities between Canada and the US. All you did was write a lot of rhetoric and diatribe.
