I would reduce that with sawdust before getting rid of the dross floating on top, just to get all the possible useful stuff like tin out of it and back into the lead.
one problem that causes poor fill out is not pre-heating your mould. close it fully and partly dip it in the led for about 30 sec. to let it get up to temp. happy casting and keep your powder dry!

I just bought the same gas burner hehehe, didnt see this before.
Another brand but from a cheap store called BILTEMA (CarTheme) her in Norway.
Sauce pan looks the same :) My scoope is alittle smaler.
For slug mold i use the 14mm socket wrench.
Works nicely.
But gonna buy me a Lee mold for slugs anyway.. :)

@lassoe led fumes, lead wont release gas until it is heated to 800 degrees. the smoke is all the contaminates burning.
