does the 3000 model still charge the battery trough USB if the USB fuse breaks?

because I can no longer connect my PSP to my PC trough USB but it still charges the battery when I put the cable in

PSP just continues to read "connect a USB cable.".

@daemont00ls its bricked to unbrick youll need a pandora battery and magic memory stick. You get cfw out of this as long as its 1k-2k series also you can downgrade into normal firmware and re-update. hopes this helps if not send to sony...

I have PSP Slim, i replaced the screen as the previous one broke, there is sound and i can see the screen working but there is no back light; will this likely to be a fuse problem? and when you bridge, can I just cover the "FB" in solder? please help.

I have a psp slim 2001 and I believe i blew a fuse.. I accidently put a psp fat pandora battery on my slim psp and now my psp will not work with the battery at all.. It does not power on with battery and it does not charge the battery.. Psp only works with the plug.. I believe i need to locate the fuse that works with the battery.. Help me someone

thanks i figured out what was wrong i bought a 12 volt charger and broke the fuse linking them together and i knew thats what was broken i was just about to buy a hole new motherboard and waste money oh and skullo64 this pretty much answers you're questing all i have to do is put those wires back together please correct me if i'm wrong

Hello sir, a friend of mine is having a prob;em with his psp2k. His psp is charging, but the orange color led does't light up, in fact whenever he charge the psp, the green led shut down.I don't know how to explain it, but he's having problem to identified wheter his psp is fully charge or not because there's no orange color led to identified it. I try to change the on/off swith with new one, but the problem does not solve, so it might be the fuse...

PSP Slim USB Fuse 1!!! ??? Does ANYONE know how to identify it ? My USB stopped transfering and being recognized, so i want to bridge it. I took the whole thing apart and the only thing i can find is 2 LB's .. I see no LD. I lost my Multimeter :( :( so i can't go around checking the fuses.

Any help would be much appreciated so i can finish this and put it back together

maybe some of your cable's are disconected check that.

help me plz. the little clamp attach to the motherboard that holds the ribbon coming from the lcd screen broke. should i just solder the ribbon directly back onto the motherboard where the clamp used to be or should i solder the fuse?

dude the same thing happened to me, i just pushed the ribon back in (with quite a bit of force) and it works i just cant take the screan ribbon out anymore.

I just swicthed out the broken lcd on mine (psp fat) and broke the extremly small ones by the backlight cable, they're just to the left and upper left don't know what they do but haven't encountered any problems yet

I sent mine to sony and they fixed it!! they also gave me some free stuff!! haha but anyway I had to get my Custom Firmware off b4 I sent it in !! But i got it back!!

for some extra help the slim 2000 model and the slim 2001 model the fuse is in the back of the motherboard yes you have to take off everything just to get to it, my fuse was labeled FB but great video
