i have the same trouble, maybe it`s because fo the version, i`m using v2.28 and this guy uses v2.22

install sbsettings and click more then hide icons and you should be good!

upgrade to firmware 3.0. will add a search option ;). you can upgrade free, just google it.

i wouldnt use this because if your phone or ipod freezes and u try to restore all the apps u had in the folders would be gone!
