I'm amazed that the video shows the demonstrator using a stylus almost exclusively, but doesn't mention it in any way.

It either has a resistive touchscreen, or a capacitive touchscreen that can handle the stylus. Too bad we don't know which...

not bashing this kinda cool nifty little device but what is the difference between this and say a tablet pc or a netbook? I would prefer one of the above to this thing as it seems slow and kind of feature-less.

Well, it's as useless as iPad. The difference is that iPad is way more beautiful and responsive.
