  • You guys think you've seen nice planes, but you havent yet. Go over to Flight World. They are off of Wolf above Priester Aviation. Their planes are incredible and they have 4 different configurations for their Redbird Flight Simulator. The planes at Palwaukee Flyers and Windy City are for children.

  • How did they instruct? Were they racking up the time on you? I have had my share of that. Whats with the owner? Why are people jumping ship?

  • Just to let everyone know, I am not an instructor or Jim Kwasek. I think i was 13 or 12 when I made this video. I am now a student pilot at Windy City Flyers because of the way Palwaukee Flyers taught.

  • Thats 1403R, the cessna 172SP that cessna repossesed from palwaukee flyers because Jim Kwasek, the owner, got about 4 months behind on the payments. Way to go Jim. It was a good plane, but its probably in a better place now.

  • Dont fly at palwaukee flyers. Their planes suck. They couldnt make payments on the G-1000 cessna, so cessna reposessed it. Their other planes were built in the seventies and fly like shit, and the chief pilot Jim is a total fucking tool and a crook.

  • you have 50 hours and you're 14, holy shit! Anyways, I've been flying the Palwaukee flyers for now 3 years and they're the greatest, plus they're planes are easy and they are good. Cessna in my opinion is better then the windy city planes.

  • @snoyda1214 windy city flies cessna too. The reason the planes are "easier" at Palwaukee flyers, is because the airplanes at chicago executive flight school consist mostly of cheap, run down planes from the early 70's that have simple, and often INOP systems that any well trained chimp could figure out, and btw, Palwaukee flyers has been renamed to Chicago Executive flight school, in what can only be described as a last ditch effort to avoid debt collectors and the FAA. FUCK YOU JIM! hahaha

  • Nice video! Run to Windy City! Don't fly those crappy Palwaukee Flyers planes!! That place sucks, Jim is a crook

  • at the time of this video i was 12. now i am 14.

  • You obviously werent PIC of this aircraft. Cool video tho. Did you go with an instructor?

  • I would certainly hope so! LOL! She couldn't take her written test till 15, cant solo till 16, and cant get her certificate till 17...

  • I know I'm posting again, but I was running out of words. I already know my way around many older cockpits, (thank you Flight Simulator X.) And Its more than likely that I'll probably end up renting a used or rented Cessna which DOESN'T have the G1000. It is a great tool for flying, but I figured I should walk before I should run. Thanks for your input. Its making my descision ever easier.

  • I've heard from a lot of pilots that transitioning from the G1000 to traditional steam guages is a lot more difficult than the other way around. So that would probably be a good decision.

  • Right. I saw that. I personally like the traditional cockpit layout. So I thought Palwaukee Flyers would be good for me personally. I wanted to get the traditional single engine PPL first, and then go for multi-engine rating, instrument rating, and maybe taildragger rating later. After my research and your input, it seems like I personally would like to learn at Palwaukee Flyers and switch over to Windy City Flyers later. Thanks.

  • cub4october25 i am swithching to Windy City Flyers. It is a great place the people are nice. The reason i am switching is for better faster planes. I am more advanced than most students. I currently have 50 hours. They seem to fly REALLY OLD PLANES at Palwaukee Flyers (other then this 2005 C172SP w/ glass cockpit). Definatly go take a ride with them and see if you like it, if not come to Windy City Flyers.

  • Is it titled Palwaukee Flyers because of the flight school based at Palwaukee that you fly at? If so, I'm thinking of taking an intro flight there. What do you recommend? Thanks

  • yeah it is...... I would take an intro in the glass because its the only plane that won't crash. i used to fly the really old planes until i would see them crashed on the news. but if you don't like the glass, go with the 172's that they have those are pretty good.

  • lolol wen ur doing that flip ur face is so funny

  • pilotjamesT thanks the stall warning i hate. The plane that you fly i hope to fly. I am now flying with Windy City. I hope to fly the cirrus.

  • He he he, nice video! That stall horn sounded very funny.

  • NOT!

  • so cool!
