Very nice filming....The steadiest I have ever seen on YouTube for as long a sequence. Did you upload it as HD ? If I do, I get buffering which ruins the whole thing, so I use "large" which is still nice. I always shoot these take-off and landing views but now they try to stop us !

I just love this!! As an airline employee for 25 years, the magnificence of a giant jet liner speeding into up into the air, will always thrill me, regardless of the type of equipment, although the 747 is my favorite ! And watching this, I can almost feel my ears popping and could smell that distinct cabin coffee being brewed !

Did you happen to see what direction this plane was taking off in? I thought since you were facing the sun, you'd be going west, but planes take off in different directions and circle around. I'm always interested in what direction I fly in! I see you're an avid flyer on Air France too!

I grew up in Paris and now I live in Washington, DC!!! Air France is the best airline!!!! (I got stuck on American Airlines TWICE flying west and I absolutely HATED it!!!) I know how long it takes! By the way, @sikoutris, did you notice on the screen in front of your seat that they put "Distance Since Departure"? When you arrive at Washington-Dulles, it says 3,853 miles!!! It's longer than I thought! Whenever I land, I still can't believe that I'm nearly 4000 miles from Charles de Gaulle!!
