  • 日本でわ庭の千草といtって昔から歌っていました

  • Holy mother, these voices are beautiful...

  • Beautiful voices! I wonder how much they make singing like that?

  • A beautiful duet... but why did they leave? ):

  • This is the soundtrack of the game "Endless Ocena 2" I love this song and the other of Celtic Woman

  • Nice adaptation from Flotow's opera. I never heard this piece in English before.

  • I think that this era when Hayley was a member of the group was the Celtic Woman at its best.

  • all those women are truelly beutiful

  • I love this song, totally my favorite! :D I really want to find a instrumental for this song so I can sing it.

  • this is amazing what great voices!!

  • good song, good voice!

  • shes so adorable! i love her voice

  • This is one of my favorite atypical Christmas songs... ^_^ My mom had a rose bush that grew the sweetest smelling roses I have ever found, and somehow they were always still blooming when the first snow came.

  • @anotherlauraperson I can Identify with that. My mother always grew beautiful late blooming flowers also. She got Alzheimer's a few years ago and had to be confined to a nursing home. Recently, while visiting her, I noticed that the roses at the nursing home were still in bloom late in November. I suppose it's a beautiful world when we open our eyes.

  • Almost all of the Celtic Woman songs are in the Wii game Endless Ocean: Blue World. It's an amazing story, and the music makes it better.

  • I was just listening to heavy metal. I am now listening to this. VARIED MUSIC TASTE FOR THE WIN!

  • @Crismis5 omg lol that's JUST like me. one minute i'm listening to like rock, pop,....etc and then all of a sudden i'm listening to this :)

  • @Crismis5 I agree *Goes to watch mariachi*

  • Irish music is by far the best, a Thomas Moore classic

  • This song gives me shivers. And the words penetrate my mind. because it's so true that our lives are more bountiful when filled with those we love.

  • @unsureofthis67 Im right with ya. The song touches the inner most depths of our hearts! LONG LIVE CELTIC WOMAN!

  • This song always reminds me of how greatful I am for my bestfriend.

"Oh who would inhabit this bleak world alone?" <3

  • I can't figure out why anybody would dislike this. If you don't like this kind of music, then why do you even bother clicking on it?

  • It is the end of summer now. What a nice song.

  • why are there so many comments on how good these women are in bed? you people disgust me.

  • @TheScottIs20 I only laugh at your pathetic statement because of how big of a jackass you just made yourself into.

  • @pianissimo5

That really shows their level of maturity and intelligence.

  • @pianissimo5 I don't know if these women are good in bed ... but I would like at least one every morning I wake up singing!

  • @supergringo86 you should be embaresed what the hell is wrong with u

  • It's beauty gives me goosebumps! :P

  • Mesmerizing!

  • The voice of angles heard on earth

  • why do i always have goosebumps when i listen to this song?

  • This wa originally done by Deanna Durbin - but it is a nice version

  • @blonde7000 Yes, that was one of the beautifulest performances of the song. The song itself actually goes back at least two centuries, when Thomas Moore wrote the words. Even Beethoven and H.W. Ernst wrote variations of the melody.

  • Reminds me of Meg and Christine singing :') lovely

  • Well, it’s quite seasonal listening to this nostalgic song when we are bidding farewell to the summer of 2011. The middle of the lyrics is a little controversial. Thomas Moore didn’t want to see the last rose hanging on the stem by itself. So he kindly culled and spread it on the ground where its companions lay. At the end, he explained he did so since he didn’t want to live in such a lonely world either. (Peter & Gordon have similar lyrics: I won't stay in a world without love.)

  • ^.^ I think i am going to do this for my musical audition piece. :D

  • 夏天最后一朵玫瑰。。。

    7,8岁的时候听过这个曲子。。。memory in the past...

  • Hayley + Meav = PERFECTION!

  • i could listen to celtic women all day

  • Amazing

  • @BuddhaZenMind All Lay Tor Fuc#

  • @TheFiredragon52 Please let me re phrase it " All Lay Tor Fu " Buddish way of " Amen "

  • Hayley...can I steal your voice :D lol Oh my goodness her voice is so beautiful! Like a real angel

  • They make singing look easy.... I wish I could sing like this! Amazing job!!

  • ... what else? Celtic Woman! ;-)

  • Whenever I listen to them, I am in another world.

  • Chills! Good chills from this song! <3

  • Hayley is totally brilliant!

  • @cricketbat08 Brilliant as always!!

  • "who would inhabit" part send the chills up my head. Haunting and lovely...

I love how Meav shift from Mezzopart to High Soprano Harmony....

    Love their voices

  • The most beautiful rendition I have ever heard. The quality of their voices is beyond compare - every note pure and clean. They are in complete control of their voices, truly touched and blessed by the hand of God.

  • Awesome.!!

    Great performance.!

    They have beautiful voices. ^^

  • this could be good for titanic i know the name is called summer rose but it seems titanic type..

  • I miss them both. I wish they didn't leave the group... :(

  • @ladymusic14 me too!! :(

  • This is a such beautiful and amazing piece of

music I wish I could sing like that.

  • I thought angels didn't exist.

    I was proved wrong. x_X <3

  • this is very nice but i think chloe agnews cover is the best

  • Their voices are just as beautiful as they look.

  • There are so many renditions of this but this is my favorite.. nice touch with the harmony..

  • @icthruu4evr Actually, I ADORE these women and appreciate their music, voices, talent, emotion, dignity, and that other thing that makes them beautiful that has no name. Yes, I'm an American boy and proud.

  • I love this song. It's one of my favorites!

  • @icthruu4evr you have taken the words right out of my mouth. go meet the Irish women. you won't go back to the US.

  • seriously who are the 80 people that hate celtic woman... their songs are beautiful and in my opinion better than some of the music i heard in my 18 years of life.

  • Stunning performance of a wonderful song.

  • Which one is Hayley?

  • @D4rkKn1ght129 Hayley is the one in the brown/ gold colored dress. She's the one who sings first. Hoped that helped. :D

  • @D4rkKn1ght129 Hayley is the first soloist.

  • Westenra's my girlfriend. That's right. I said it.

  • Beautiful is she Irish?

  • @redsomister She's from New Zealand.

  • Is it just me, or does anyone else get a tingle in their skin listening to this?

  • Meav and Hayley sing the song so nicely. their voices blend beautifully so as to create a great melodious tune. I'm inspired by their interpretation. I felt the serenity in their hearts through their song. I'm enthralled!

  • girls like this understand love

  • beautiful.........

  • c: Meav has the slightly deeper, more operatic voice. The kind that soothes young children.

Hayley has the more choir type voice, the one that allows her to hit those A sharps with ease.

Both have beautiful voices, that weave magic when they sing together.

  • Is Meav the soprano? I love this song! :D

  • @Aerodil c: Both are Soprano's.

But Meav is in the red dress, and Hayley is in the brown dress.

  • que suavidade!!! lindo lindo!

  • which one is meav and which is hayley?

  • @VirginiaRose96, Meav is the one in the red dress. This is probably my favorite version of the song, although Chloe's solo version isn't bad either.

  • this is such a beautiful song!!! i sung it as a duet with a friend recently.

  • OH MY GOD.

  • Comment removed

  • Truly enchanting- as with all their music!

  • I wish I could sing this pretty music :c I wonder if it's too late for me to learn to sing classical style, I'm 21...

  • @DesiFuyuko go for it!!! your never to old to do anything, if your hearts into it you can do it!

  • This song brings tears into my eyes.

It's so beautiful. Celtic Woman rocks. Today I felt a bit like the last rose of summer, because my classmates were mean to me and I'm born in summer and my name is Rose in Dutch. They're saying; her companions are faded and gone. Reminds me of my classmates because it seemed they wanted to stay away from me. So I was the rose who was left blooming alone...

  • simply amazing. I'm withouth words.

  • What a beautiful duet; long live the Celtic Women!

  • This song was in Endless Ocean, so obviously, I loved it instantly....

  • Thanks for the upload. Great music!! The dislikes are people just amusing themselves to get attention. Some pages comments are even disabled. Usually dislikes are only a 5 to a few hundred people, compared to the actual views.

  • Beautiful I'm singing the solo version fro my grade 7 this was useful to see how to properly tell the story :)

  • Does this give anyone else chills?

  • nice song

  • I sound like this in the shower. True story.

  • Hayley is so beautiful... my god... stunningly beautiful

  • beautiful coleens.

  • beautiful collens.

  • Just saw Celtic Woman on TV. Thought back to 2008...the days I'd sing these songs...Time has really flown...Haven't realized it...Like,4 years ago.

  • Ooops, i though this was a Judas Priest video..sorry for trespassing, I'll find the door.

  • THEY DID NOT WRITE THIS SONG!!

  • endless ocean <3

  • Angels.

  • CELTIC WOMAN HAS DONE IT AGAIN, BIG STONE CHOOSE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SAY THE LAST ROSE OF SUMMER IS A MASTERPIECE. WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!1

  • How about this, 78 people expressed their own opinion that differs from yours. did that ever cross your minds? God fuck I fucking hate YouTube community.

One thing is for sure. If I will ever upload videos here, commenting will be turned off. Not going to let biased idiots ruin the mood.

    inb4 butthurt comebacks

  • @mekz22 Annnnnnnnnnnnd thank you.

  • 78 people were moved by this song... they tried to press the like button but they're hands were shaking and they accidentally pressed the dislike button instead

  • Only the Irish could give justice to this music.

  • i wonder what she thinks about her songs being on the endless ocean games.

  • @ayoungdancersdream i am sure she thrilled , very greatfull and flatered

  • When it started I thought, meh, not bad, the celtic women could do better.. then...

at 1:24 that kid got poned and I was floored

  • @classicalgalNYC i don't sense the sharpness, maybe a tad bit. My sister says she's unbearably nasaly, I just don't hear it. and I usually do. I'm pretty sure that Hayley is like 19 years old.

  • @pianissimo5 I guessin to me her voice is just not warm or pleasing =/ Hayley was 20 here in this vid close enough I feel her voice didn't have enough body or warmth of timbre

  • @classicalgalNYC Her voice is definitely very bright, and doesn't always record well in the upper register. I think she's got a great sound for popular music, but I've always thought she could do really great things with the classical style if she found the right technique to mellow out her high notes.

  • @classicalgalNYC i was thinking Hayley just had a different ring to her voice, not quite as smooth as Meav's. I wasnt really sure about her voice being nasaly because she seems to open her mouth and project fairly well. She definately has a different tone to her voice. :)

  • @VirginiaRose96 I have a voice similar to Hayley's. I think it's the clarity or smoothness. Yes Meav has a smooth voice, but Hayley has a clear tone to it, making it sound sharper :D I totally agree with you.

  • @Aerodil haha yes i agree with you, and i also think it has something to do with how Hayley is a fairly young singer in this, like i am. I am still a teenager and my voice is somewhat similar to hers as well. Obviously when Hayley gets older her voice will sound a lot more mature and have more depth to it, but young singers definately have lighter and more floating voices. :)

  • @Aerodil Mmmm... It's must be you, Sarah. How Cliff's doing lately ?

  • I love this song a lot Meav and Hayley sing very well

    Congrats celtic woman

  • When I was in a V.A., hospital after my tour in Vietnam, I listened to Deana Durbin 's rendition of this beautiful song and it gave me peace .as they removed shrapnel from my arm.

  • @peterboy48 Welcome home Peter...Thank you for your service to this great Country. I'm glad that you made it man.

  • Magnifico the celtic history and the Legende of European Culture!

  • hahaha: tis the last rose of supper!

  • @ruddysmiles lol !

  • Talent muzyczny, piękny głos.

  • 3:00 - 3:11 makes me melt a little more every time I hear it! <3

  • Meav's dress <3

    ...

    Meav <3

  • the singing was amazing, as usual. Hayley seemed a bit nervous, so she sort of quickened the song, and didn't hold the notes for as long as she could have. still, they sounded beautiful.

  • I´ve only heard one, in my memory, better version- the only time i have seen Reeltime.

  • i don't get why anyone would thumbs down this even if they don't like this type of music. if they don't like it, don't watch it, and if they're going to judge, judge on the merits of their singing.

  • What is their names? And i believe 77 people are just down right assholes! They are angels.

  • @BrightestStarlight The one in gold is Hayley Westenra and the one in red is Méav Ní Mhaolchatha

  • What's her name?

  • I need them to stand in my corner and sing me to sleep each night! Their voices are so beautiful!

  • Hayley Westenra... will you be my wife?

  • @chimpan1000 get in the queue, buddy! ;)

  • @sugarpuffsandwich Haha I thought the line would be long. I know she would choose me though :D

  • @chimpan1000 I'll fight you for her! I warn you, I have a black belt! ;)

  • @sugarpuffsandwich Haha things will be interesting!

  • @sugarpuffsandwich You have a black belt and I have a .357 magnum.

  • Theyre like in perfect harmony with each other. A magnificent duo. I really love this :D

  • @SpreadalilSunshine70

i want to have like 10,000 babies with them

  • This is a beautiful song. M'eav and Hayley did an outstanding job together. They both have amazing voices and impeccable harmony and timing.

I've been watching these two very talented woman sing this song since I first saw them perform in it on PBS in 2006.

You'd think that after having watched this many times over the coarse of 4+ years that it wouldn't choak me up anymore.

  • Méav has the most beautiful voice ever... Hayley is a very close second though :D The harmony makes me not want to breathe because I'd hear them better without the sound of my breath :)

    And <3 Hayley's dress :)

  • @ethalinia thats blasphemy! hayley is no. 1 :P

  • All right seriously; why is there a dislike button for Celtic Women songs?

  • @Glaceon2090 make that 77

  • 76 people have no soul

  • @MrBooyacka

77 people have no soul. It's too beautiful to dislike

  • she might as well be a faerie Xo

  • Who the hell would dislike this.... screw them

  • Beautifully orchestrated. Lovely, just lovely.

  • i was at my neighbor's house over the summer (it was like august) and i saw this rose and i was like "oh what a pretty rose!" and my neighbor's like "yeah my mom really likes it" and i noticed there weren't other ones around so i started singing this and then my neighbor's like "there's another one" and i'm like "oh"

  • @angelfrmabov32697 haha, that's really funny but it had me recalling a time when i sang this to a little rose out in the backyard. this was two years ago when i was in 5th grade, but every once and a while i recall that time. :)

  • @peaslovecats funny things songs will make us do!! we'll sing this to roses, and i'll sing ignorance by paramore whenever i hear the word ignorance. same things with pressure. isn't it funny how we'll do that?

  • @angelfrmabov32697 definitely! gosh, paramore is pretty cool. it's funny how i like hayley williams and hayley westenra!

  • @peaslovecats yeah me too! and they have the same initials.... weird lol

  • my two favorite celtic women <3 besides Mairead, shes amazing <3

  • Wow! She is so beautiful! Her voice is so melodious!

  • Meav is absolutely awesome. She has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. It's like what I imagine an angel sounds like. Breathtaking!

  • 75 people are obsessed with Justin Beiber, Lady Gag (last A left out on purpose...), and have no respect for classic, simple, beautiful music that actually has a TUNE.

  • Beautiful.

    Just beautiful.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • I am sorry but 75 people are crazy there amazing !
