  • Hey, That's alright! Thanks! Yeah, I want to make another video with the heart showing more clearly. I would recomend a Rose Haired, or a captive bred Red Kneed Tarantula. :)

  • wats molting? XD and i wana learn more abot spiders XD made more vids pweeeze XD get a male tranchula with ur frmal i wana see them make eggs

  • I can't find any males, and My T isn't even adult yet. Molting is the same as shedding. :)

  • Yeah, me too! They don't really move too much when they are upside down.

  • sweet music! sounds like a sega game or something? I give 5 stars

  • haha I know right?! Thanks! Thanks for watching also!

  • lol! My tarantula is named stella aswell!

  • Nice!! What kind of T do you have?

  • Could do without the music!!!!!

  • Sorry

  • omg tysvm2 Ilovespiderz 4 responding, I have applied vaseline 2 her joints and misted(vry lightly and put a heating pad under her and the old lady is still trying ty agn 4 responding, DN59

  • Alright, good luck!

  • My Tarantula (Charlote) is molting. Every year same shed with no probs. Something is very wrong now..it's been 9 hours and she is spilling fluid out her knees and skin not shedding. Is she dying? She is 19 yo. what 2 do?

  • Oh crap dude. If the tank is too dry, try spray misting it. Other than that, the best thing you could do right now is pray.

  • my Costa Rican Zebra has just shed her skin today she is called Bitch because that is what she is :P

I just put a couple of clips up of Bitch doing the same thing almost. But obviously I'm new to this uploading thing so my video's aren't quite as good as yours. Took her 4 hours to get out of her skin though she did lose half her back leg in the process which I'm not to amused about. Now all I got to do is wait for my spiderling Chilean Rose to shed :)

  • Nice! I'm waiting for this one to shed again! Can't wait!

  • well I guess I have about another 6 months or so before she sheds again. Sjhe is a lovely blue/black colour at the moment with her stripes a creamy colour. She looks fab apart from the back leg which I'm hoping will grow back with her next shed. My Chilean Rose is only the size of my finger tip at the moment but I think once I get that transfered to a new tank I'm going to get myself a Mexican red knee. And her eis me petrified of spiders haha

  • I don't think Tarantulas use the back legs as much as the "outside" spiders do. (ie: cobweb spiders, garden spiders, jumping spiders, etc.)

The leg will grow back after a few molts.

  • lol he it diddnt get scared of the light it just went on its funny how they molt they roll and twitch

    thnx for sharing

  • I know, right?

  • okay

how many tarantulas do you have

  • only two

  • DISGUTINGG, EWW HATE SPiDERS :?

  • lol

  • I love spiders too but i dont wanna touch them....EVER. Yet I like watchign them and what not, but i wont buy one from fear itll get out of its case.

  • lol That's what alot of people say.

  • thx nice turantula..1 more question how long did it take to molt since you first got it.

  • lol UUUMMMM?! Oh yeah. When I first got it in December '06, they said it just molted. About 4 months later, it molted again, and then another 6 months, it molted again. Now it is happily eating crickets. If you don't keep the heat above 70 degrees, and the Humidity above 65%, then you may not see your tarantula until the weather warms up again. That would be another reason they would conceal themselves into a burrow.

  • my red knee hadnt eaten in about 1 month and i thoght he/she was dieing but it molted yesderday but when she did the colours on her look like a mecican red legged now lol

  • NICE!!! I would like to see that!

  • love da music good vid whats the name of the song or music

  • Music by Pluxus

    Song list in the order they appear on the vid;

    1.) Agent Tangent

    2.) April 1724

    3.) Polyfant

    4.) Calemucho

  • i have cork bark in not soil so i dont think he will burrow

  • Sometimes they would burrow in the soil Thanks for watching!!

  • when tarantula molt do they always burrow.I have got a red knee tarantula only juvenile i think it may molt because it hasnt eaten in ages

  • Nice! I heard that Mexican Red Knees have huge abdomens before they molt. Like they are about to blow up. lol I know they never will though.

  • Very well done! Cool spider.:)

  • Thanks, but video quality kinda sucks. Thanks!

  • That's ok, you can still see, very interesting to watch her.:)

    Take care!

  • Thanks! You too now. Take Care.

  • happy new year!

very interesting vid and nice music.

too bad about the fuzzy captions.

next time, u have to use larger fonts.

have u tried the newly introduced "youtube uploader"? whose upper limit is 1GB(!).

maybe no need to recompress vids anymore.

as for the timelapse, u may have to tweak the setting of frame rate in ur video editor program.

  • Hey, Thanks. No I haven't tried that yet, but I definately will next time. Thanks for the info!

  • Nice video. Very informative. I've never seen a brown A.seemanni before. It looks very different to mine

  • You watched the whole thing? Thanks. I'm impressed. When I first got her, I was doubting that it was a Zebra Tarantula, until I had to pay attention to one specific detail. The Underbelly is orange. Thanks for watching.

  • My E. campestratus and my M.Robustum have orange undersides. As yours molted, it looked like almost like a green phase, but it's strange that the stripes are faintly visible

  • I'm not sure if it is mature yet. As you see in 9:19, It has a little less of a 4 inch legspan. Maybe, one mnore molting?

  • zebra gets as big as rose hairs, so maybe at least 5 inches

  • They reach maturity at age 5

  • Ya, I did watch the whole thing :)
