  • 01:23 "WHO THE HELL WAS ELIZABETH BEFORE SHE GOT WITH MACHO?" LMAO! The can't do this anymore......Love Jesse

  • 3:00-3:02 WTF

  • You goddamn kids bitching about how fake it is, go fuck yourselves. You spoiled little shits don't know what good wrestling is. This was Superman versus Jesus to me when I was a kid.

  • @ninjast4r dont waste ur breath; I mean, R u douchebags really that naive? It's kind of funny, but mostly embarrassing. Ya, because your new copy of Call Of Duty is exactly what real life combat is like. Gimmie a break; This was entertainment when we were kids. Entertainment is just that; fun. I'd rather spend all day play fighting outside than sitting in front of an Xbox pretending to do something you'll never have the guts to do.

I swear after the 80s and 90s kids die off, the US is doomed

  • its so fake, it just isnt fun to watch O.o

  • @DutchMagicBoy Everything in TV/movies is fake.

  • @DutchMagicBoy go back to twilight

  • @LVSWTZ so because i'm not stupid enough to be entertained by some huge, almost naked man, makes me a twilight fan? xD

  • About 9:11 Hogan blades.

  • Looking at their sizes....

It´s intersesting that Macho got bigger than Hogan later.

Unfortunately, Savage didnt move like he did before.

    And Hogan just never moved.

  • @hoghash78 I was just thinking about that; I always wondered how Randy got so big... well, maybe not HOW but more or less why...The industry changed I guess. Randy tried to change with it... but by that time, it got so jaded, WCW became a soap opera and WWE got its monopoly... I stopped watching in 98 - mainly because I grew out of it, but because it became so damn sloppy.

To me, wrestling died when I started hearing about David Arquette and Karl Malone, winning matches against some washup

  • i think he put a bit too much power in that kick and fucked hogan up

  • IMO one of the best matches ever in WWE history. Gorilla and Jesse made this match with the commentary

  • Comment removed

  • so fake.

  • who won?

  • man im mad i wasnt born to see the golden age. but i did see much of the 90's. but still it would have been great to see this match live!

  • I have just read Hulk Hogan's autobiography "My Life Outside the Ring". Therein, he saya that his wife, Linda, was often insanely jealous of many of the women that Terry worked with. Judging from this video, I can see why Linda would be jealous of Elizabeth.

  • Notice how many men in the front row wore suits...back when a PPV meant something...lol.

  • Macho King!

  • oh man....I was about 11 years old when I saw this match live on TV.....the memories :)

    RIP Macho and Gorilla

  • Damn you copyright!!!!!!

  • Can anyone shed some light on why WWE has removed Jesse's commentary from their DVDs? The matches are so much better with it.

  • @philberz

Jesse sued WWE awhile back claiming he wanted residuals off of his commentating work of everything he did for WWE. Jesse won the lawsuit.

  • @donna1175 They should just pay Jesse. Would be worth it.

  • I think that jesse ventura should take michael coles announce spot..

  • who win?

  • @Immortallos Hulk Hogan won.

  • G: "Obviously you wouldn't know. You never had a manager."

J: "I had a manager in '81- 'Classie' Freddie Blassie."

G: "Yeah, and he took your career right down the toilet."

    LOL.

Gorrilla and Jesse were the best combo.

  • damn i wish i was older so i couldve seen this :/

  • Where's the rest?

  • This WM was my first to get all psycho over.

  • Where is part 3

  • Wrestling is fake but it takes A LOT of talent and some practice to make something that's that fake to look real. They do great work. It's a shame Randy Poffo died recently.

  • machochurch(dot)com

  • Hulk hogan vs Chuck norris would be one hell of a fight

  • lmao Chump Hogan

  • ...and those are closed fist! totally illegal! ventura one of the best! lol

  • I really hope this is meant as being fake. Are the championsships and all that shit for real? Or are they just show ofs? I don't get this.

  • @banansnask

It's a performance. Think of it like an athletic play, with a lot of improvisation. Generally they have an idea of how the match will start & they know how it's going to end, but they work together and play off one another in deciding how to get from the beginning to the end. If you watch carefully, you can see that Macho Man and Hulk Hogan are communicating with one another the entire time. But you aren't supposed to think about that. Like watching a movie, you put the fake aside.

  • @manny4mayor Okay, that clarified some things for me, but there are still some parts which I don't get. The whole title thing. Are they really winning that or is it just a part of the show? Is it considered a sport? Like can you bet money on it, do they train wrestling aside from the matches and so on? I kinda wanna know if I should hate it or respect it as it is :) thx for answering btw

  • @banansnask

The title is part of the show. Think of it like the "lead" in a ballet company. All of the ballerinas work for the company. They all get a chance to dance every week. But those that are the most consistently good become the lead dancer and get the head role in any performance. Same deal here. Because the outcome of the match has been decided beforehand, the belt isn't so much won as it is awarded by the wrestling company. Wrestling is athletic, but it's entertainment, not a sport.

  • @banansnask

They definitely do train and they do practice and they do work out. What they do is remarkably difficult and they perform far more frequently than any other athletes in real sports. The risk of injury is very real, though they do fake them as part of the show quite regularly. You can bet on it, if you know where to look, but that's true of anything. If you can see it for what it is, then you can respect it for that. If you get stuck comparing it to what it's not, it can't match up.

  • @banansnask

Again, if you think of it in terms of theater or a type of circus, where the performers only get one chance to get it right, it's hard to hate. Nobody gets mad at plays because they aren't real. They just enjoy the show. And that's my advice. Try it out. Find a character that makes you laugh. Or impresses you with their athleticism. Or find someone you can't stand. Let yourself get lost in the story and see where it takes you. It can be a hell of a ride.

  • @manny4mayor Okay, thx. As long as it's like improvised theatre I have no problem with it at all. I just got confused by people talking about how they couldn't wait to see who would win, when winning doesn't mean anything to be blunt.

  • @banansnask You have to consider though, that in the "world" of wrestling, winning does mean something. Remember, we know while watching that it's a show, like any other TV show or movie, but part of that is buying into the storyline. Watching a movie is no fun if you ignore the story and constantly think "these guys are just acting, that's a fake gun", etc. In wrestling, the basic story is that everyone wants to be champ, and winning matches gets them closer to that goal.

  • @Dockktor Was running out of room - But to sum up, saying that winning a match doesn't mean anything to Hulk Hogan, the wrestler, is like saying that defeating the Empire doesn't mean anything to Luke Skywalker. No, neither things actually matter in the real world, but in the context of the story, these things do matter.

  • @Dockktor Yes that's clear to me, but as i understand it, a win in wrestling isn't the same like winning in football or baseball. You win with a different goal in mind so to speak. In wrestling, as I understand it, they don't win because the trophy is a great achievement showing your skill, but rather to tell a story, or to follow the storyline.

  • @banansnask Yeah, you got it. Sorry, reading your last comment I thought you were still confuzzled.

  • I've read the comments and true. These guys don't have the hi-tech moves of stars of this generation. But their persona's were larger than life in this craft. Give me a promo with Macho Man or Hogan or the Ultimate Warrior and I'll laugh my ass off all the way through. The build up was usually better than the show itself, but it made you take a peek. The last decade I don't even bother to watch for a second. Just riff-raff. R.I.P. Macho. You were my favorite.

  • I love Ventura in all of these, god damn he is funny.

  • john cena has nothing on these 2

  • i liked the old wwe

  • Its sad we don't get matches like this nowadays. The match ran primarily on tension and storytelling. No BIG athletic moves or anything. Guess what?It was entertaining regardless and it kept me hooked from beginning to end. :D

  • I've trained in wrestling. Even though it's a work, do not undermine the discipline and athleticism required or feel free to get in the ring with these gus.

  • RIP Macho Man. =(***

  • These guys had no athletic moves whatsoever yet it's still entertaining. lol

  • manual tracking @ 03:53 hi-tec or what haha

  • Ah, old-fashioned VHS quality, as this should be seen.

  • @km9OOO Agreed

  • RIP Macho Man..

  • 3:00 and american ways, american rules bring up good memories:)

  • the commentary by Jesse Ventura and Gorilla Mosoon is awesome.

  • @Ben16phile Rip Gorilla Monsoon. A legend gone too soon.

  • @Ben16phile they are the G.O.A.T

  • Hulk was so big in comparison.

  • RIP Macho man...

  • Its fun watching how fake they act...

  • @LtStrayshot Just like everything on tv and movies you watch lmao. People know wrestling is fake. Tell us something we don't know

  • @vegetasayinprince10 What I mean is that the fun part of this is the fake-ness of their acting. So obvious :D

  • The commentators are more entertaining than the fight!

  • jesse the body said i had a manager in 81 classie freddie blassie gorilla said he took your career right down the tiolet!!!!!lmoa!!!!

  • Nice ;)

  • we dont give a fuck if you think wrestling is fake.

  • gorilla - ventura: what would you know you've never had a manager

ventura - gorilla: I had a manager back in 81

gorilla -ventura: yeah and he took your career down the toilet

lmao, I miss the old wwf commentaries

  • this is just like southpark described it :P

  • love how the announcers fight, this is so stupid.

  • funny sport only for dumb americans

  • @UntouchableCZ Then why type it into the YouTube search bar if you think you have to be dumb americans to enjoy it?? Makes no sense, right?

  • @UntouchableCZ That's why wrestling outsells all other sports except soccer in the UK? Are they Americans too? Dumbass.

  • "That's ridiculous and disgusting!"

    "Brilliant!"

Gotta love the announcers! They really got me riled up when I was a kid, lol.

  • Elizabeth reminds me of princess toadstool.

  • @ForestKid408

    YES

  • thats how wrestling should be done.

  • Macho Man was the greatest Champ Ever!!!!

  • Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse "The Body" Ventura Commentary of the 80's & early 90's

Jim Ross & Jerry "The King" Lawer Commertary of the 90's & 00's

  • Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura were so much fun to listen to. Hands down the best WWF commentary team ever.

  • the commentators are hilarious. jesse the body and gorilla monsoon

  • @ForestKid408 I especially love their banter between 1:16 and 1:46.... makes me laugh out loud every time.

  • Macho Man is a pussy, he always ran out of the ring :s

  • Where is part 3?

  • I LOVE CLASSIC MATCHES & SUPERSTARS. HOGAN, SAVAGE, STEELE, ROBERTS, HONKY TONK MAN, HBK, RAZOR RAMON, WARRIOR.

  • Elizabeth= the most beautiful manager in wrestling history

  • macho man isnt macho his just some faggot

  • Jesse Ventura: That's Skill Wrestling, Gorilla.

    Gorilla Monsoon: That's cheating.

    Jesse: It's skill!

  • Monsoon and Jesse's comments made tnis match worth watching.

  • @MrFatmatt02 Absolutely, I miss those guys

  • Hogen--------->BeSt

  • 8:00 - 8:11 Listening to the Body and Moonson! We're not gonna stop a match for a cut under the eye! WWE today stops matches because of bullshit like that!

  • WWE is looking out for the safety of its wrestlers. That's why.

  • @Edgehead10075 I bet you believe that. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Linda McMahon running for Senate. Nope.

  • Hogen---<best

  • Awesome!! Haven't seen this since I was a little'un!!

  • Savage looks small compared to Hogan here

  • God i miss "heel" color commentators

  • love jesse and gorilla!!

  • Vince and Jesse were the best commentating team. Monsoon always said the same stuff. I did like Bobby the Weasel too.

  • hahahaha jesse ventura talking about elizabeth: "maybe a punch in the nose would do her some good"

  • Who is a better commentating team? Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse Ventura or Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan?

  • Gorilla and Bobby, they just had natural chemistry. It seems Jesse was shooting on Hulk during this match lol

  • @slvrangel4 sounds like ventura to me

  • It feared man macho hogana, it ran away

  • CHICKEN!!

  • OOOHHH YYYEEEAAAHHH!!!

  • best commentating I ever heard

  • 6.17...signs of hollywood hulk hogan......20 years ago....

  • Year derderman your right and this is just for entertainment !!! and it is entertaining !

  • And once again the best parts are from Jesse Ventura LOL

  • 2.58 alians!!

  • hey movies are fake too but i like watching them

  • well, it's fake in the same way a play is fake. it's all a show.

  • donald trump chewing his nails lol wow

    great match! thnx

  • Cocaine runs the whole show...geekin on coke ....and its soooo obvious ....macho man was sooo coked up ....woww.

  • because its entertaining....

  • well, not everbody likes everything....

  • If it's not entertaining to you, why are you watching it?

  • Well then maybe they should just take every show off tv that you don't like. Would that make you happy?

  • because almost everything on t.v. is fake...

  • why do people like you exist

  • Why do people like you exist saying bad things to people who don't like something that's absoloutely fake.

  • the tower of power, too sweet to be sour

    macho madness is a legend

  • retarded product of a retarded nation

  • Lol, you think pro wrestling is just an American thing?

  • so like i said who does that bitch end up with?

  • omg that was the first time i ever seen hulk hogan take some down with a heel hook wtf...hahahahahhahaha to the TARD that said hulk knew actual mma your a fuckin joker hogan only know's how to do a nice comb over

  • haha good entertainment

  • LOL!! Jesse's commentary is classic at 1:26 "Who the hell was Elizabeth before she met Macho!"

  • u cn relive it on wwe legends of wrestlemania obviously it is a game but wot u gona do

  • Ah the good ol days when wrestling was fun to watch. Wish I could relive it again.

  • This is when wrestling still had realism. When a close line really did hurt (just like it would if you knocked someone down in the street).

Unlike today, where you need a nuclear bomb to beat somebody.

  • True about the nukes. There's been this evolution for finishers. Even a few years ago a spinebuster would be a match-ender, now it's more common that a wristlock.

  • hulk should come back what u guys say

  • No way dude, he is waaaaay too old now

  • Nope, he´s just a brawler with lack of wrestlingskills, and a beer-drinking, wife-beatin rednecl.

  • Not gonna argue about beer-drinking or wife-beating, but the lack of wrestling skills coment is ridiculous. He had to adopt a brawler-style of wrestling after his neck injury, but watch his stuff before the injury. He was putting on great matches in WCW long before he was "Stone Cold."

  • WHAT???!!! Hogan knew MMA and Judo?

  • Yes he did, his matches from japan shows several proofs.

  • They were most likely works.

  • Hogan by his own admission had to use his leg drop finisher because he hurt himself trying top rope legdrops. That's from his mouth.

    Austin, is better than that.

  • The only thing austin is better than hogan is beating his wife.

  • What does that have to do with wrestling? In ANY way?

  • Lol.. You would prolly have more chance of the Warrior being in the hall of fame than Savage ,,, but i think both these guys should be there.

  • did savage really try and get with steph....He always mentions her.....Oddly enough both warrior and Savage are going to be in the new legends of wrestmania game...............and the dvd they were going to make a few years ago about macho that vince had cancelled is apparently a go again ...

  • U Guys r going to hate me for this but some ECW main Eveents r 20 or more minutes

  • He will at Wrestlemania 25 inducted by Ric Flair mark my words

  • Hulk vs. Warrior actually lasted more than 22 minutes.

  • wheres last part? so gimpish!

  • Savage was definately a beast at WM...Steamboat/Savage at WM 3, winning it all at WM 4, this classic match at WM 5, the classic retirement match with Warrior at WM 7, and the great WWF title match with Flair at WM 8...a true Hall of Famer

  • OMFG Damn imagine a punch from hulk hoogan. :S Shit!!!

  • Punchers are done with a open hand they don't hurt that much!!A real punch will knock you out!!

  • nah..nah...hogan was the man

  • Macho Man was way better than Hogan in my opinion.
