Exactly! Burning man showed up way after Zozobra and in the words of 'kissfool' it is most definitely a poor excuse. Zozobra goes way back into Santa Fe's culture and is a deep meaningful event for a lot of santa fean's. Do you know of any other city in the US that pulls off something this amazing and has been for over 80 years? Learn some culture then talk.
Zozobra is egalitarian, bringing the community together to banish the dross of the previous year. Burning Man is an excuse for posers to get wasted and hump.
I grew up seeing it every year, I moved out of state for college, and fiestas are what I look forward to the most about moving back!!!!!!! When I show this to my friends they tebd to get really wierded out, lol
Kewl video Mine was a much earlier version before it was fashionable to do a full scale video, but I could always go back and re cut it and add Jason Newstead doing She Took An Axe with Flotsam & Jetsam that would have some more impact and it is all my stuff. check it out- your was good through but you had a budget?

oh man that was a raging video. been watching zozo on and off since i was 6 years old. lived on rosario blvd. so it was a 3 block walk to that craziness. now live far away, not so lucky. wish i could see it every year.

This is great! I have tried to explain zozo to my friends now that I live out of state, this made them worry about me, but at least they have an idea of what Im talking about! Oh how I miss fiest weekend :(
