  • wat is this movie call agian i love to watch it plzz tell me??

  • 戈春艶先生が金剛搗碓してる!

  • mark was soooooo hot. omg......

  • The wushu changquan form looked like he either cut it short or made it for such a closed space... hrmmm.

I loved the chin na set! I've never seen chin na in a sparring set like that before haha!

  • That was a small space for Wu Shu even if the place wasn't packed with reporters.

  • I agree all the way.

I'm going to be competing in Berkeley's CMAT (Chinese Martial Arts Competition).

Will you be covering it at all?

  • Sorry, we are out of the martial art news business. Good luck with your competition.

  • @MartialArchiveTv truly a shame, someone should petition to bring your program back or one like it. *bows*

  • @Bastion83 A petition with a million dollars attached! Thanks for the thought.

  • I like how Mark Salzman gives them so much time to answer. It's like quick question, (showing off his chinese), they utter two words, he cuts them off, then translates. Diminishes the great coaches to smiling Chinese guys. Anyway, the wushu is great at least.

  • Just so you understand how this press conference was set up. Mark Salzman and the Wu Shu coaches had prepared for the English speaking press. The coaches were uncomfortable since they didn't speak a single word of English and we had to share their limited time with a large number of local Chinese speaking press. There might have been just one other English language TV crew there.

  • Thanks for the footage; great to see this rare footage of enclosed space Wu Shu, and a very young Mark Salzman interpreting. I have read many of his books, including both memoirs, so seeing him is fascinating. I know he's been a teacher and he's quite self-possessed. Has been an accomplished music too. Renaissance man. Thanks again.

  • Salzman's film, Iron & Silk, was terrific. I taught English overseas (Saudi Arabia), and can appreciate the cultural transfer you experience. Salzman is also a great martial artist in that, unlike so many action heroes, he is unassuming, humble, and charming. He doesn't let his martial skill overpower his own character as a human being. Terrific guy!

  • Mark Salzman is my hero!

  • i love old school wushu. this generation was THE best, and always will be as far as i'm concerned.

excellent chen taiji by ge chun yan, too!

  • This is great! Never seen that one before!

  • great chinese kungfu!

  • I prefer this old school wushu to the modern one.

  • Wow! A wushu form in such a tight enclosed space. Impressive.

  • gosh, what small demo space, still good though

  • amazing demo! thanks for posting this rare footage! you get 5 stars from masteringwushu . com
