Yes , It will work on EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1 LGA 1366 Intel X58 MB, Just need to check the clearance to MB heat sink & fan.

Is it true on the eVGA X58 you have to unscrew the heatsinks to install it and then re-install them O_o?

Actually we bought an eVGA X58 SLI board and tried it out in the office for just that reason. I don't know what they are talking about in the Newegg reviews, installation was easily do-able. It requires that the heatsinks on the VRM be in contact with the fan a little bit, but nothing noticeable and certainly not serious. we do recommend that you plug in the fan before securing it though, because it will get tight.

also before recording this video this guy really loosened the holes on his motherboard. you will have a tough time at the point where you flip everythin over... if you have trouble getting the screws through the board enough to get the nuts on just nudge them towards the center of the cpu with a dull ended screw driver (not to ruin the threading) this will work much better than bending the board alot like I had tried.

wow is he a moron. and i cant believe this company has someone like this as a spokesperson..... anyway here are some more tips to further help you with installation.

To help with positioning the cooler correctly: In most motherboards if you look at the top of the cooler when it is in position the vigor symbol will be right side up if you have it in correctly.
