  • So true. Newer riders want to make more of a fashion statement then anything else.

  • Please use bands speaking english next video!

  • I've watched this video many times, and it's always been slow to load. Just this one. It's so weird.

  • I just can't stop loving that first Harley shot. It comes on and there's this bad-ass music and everything's gnarly and crazy. Never gets old!

  • @JETZcorp Legs of freezing hehe

  • Yeah these are cry babies because if they dont like older then 2003 there pready darn stupid i have an 01 cr and its absolutely the same as the 03 and up! and i think the older air cooled bike run better and are actually cool and look good! keep riding old never mind the cry babies lmao!

  • im a relic rider ill take an older bike over a newer one any day except for my banshee

  • complaining thire bike sucks doesnt bother me as bad as the people who love rideing but wont do a racelonger than a day or wont ride because thire is mud or snow or rain and such

  • i just comented another video of urs. this video made you the coolest pearson alive

  • HELL NO i love my 1986 KX 125 and 1991 YZ 125

  • Bravo! Nice Job!

  • haha, i have my 78 ds 80, its air cooled, double shocks and over 30 years old, its not bad at all

  • im taking my grandfathers 350cc 2 stroke russian street bike trail riding its like from the 60s thats what he use to do with it to bad he died before i got to know him

  • haha that sucks for them i have a 1986 rm 80 and my friends think its cooler than the 2005 yz 85 my friend has

  • Older bikes do look cooler than newer ones, newer ones look kinda plain. They have to do all that graphics kit crap to get them to look good, old bikes looked good stock.

  • I never had a brand new bike in my life, and the one I'm currently riding is twelve years old ,now thats getting up there in MX years. Not only in technology but just in shear wear and tear. Those gys on those heavy ass Harleys were truly ballsy.

  • Your bike is like brand new and still looks good!

Ya, you look at riding one of those bikes though the woods and all the sudden even the metal tank, "heavy" enduro bikes of the 70s like the Yamaha DT and Suzuki TS all the sudden look very light weight! Watching them ride it's like shit, you could free style on a 70s bike!

  • That's right, my DT 175 looks really light now. And it weighs like 40 pounds more than modern trail bikes.

I don't think I could even try taking a beastly bike like that off road. Just... Scary thought. lol.

  • honestly the two stroke engine is so basic, theres not really an out dated 2 stroke

  • Ya, 2 stroke is a 2 stroke, although there are some recent improvements such as direct injection. I like simpler tho, less parts.

  • I think the whole inverted forks thing is over rated, sure they look nice, but the normal forks on my xr 650 l are so comfortable

  • was that a kx 250 2003

  • 2006 Yamaha YZ250F Anniversery Edition

  • problem is you will find that people who slag off older classic vintage motorcross are spoilt bastards when they were kids prob got a new bike every christmas when i was a kid i rid anything road bikes with motorcross tyres on everything and anything they prob never ridden a old 1 prob couldnt ive had new and old and respect both, grow up cunts haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa cry babies

  • me and my rm get hell all the time because its an 1985 i remember goin to an mx race some yrs ago and there was a guy on a i'd say 86 rm 250 and everybody else was on newer bikes the guy on the 86 was kickin their asses!

  • I've gotten some hell, luckly tho when you're on a Maico you get more admirers than you get shit :)

  • just to day i was talking about having a ride day with my mates and i said ''it would be better to bring an air cooled bike rather than a water cooled bike'', one of the guys said '' whats air cooled?'' like what the fuck! how do you not know what an air cooled bike is?. and also another thing that happened was we were talking about who's bike goes the hardest and i couldnt care what you got its the rider not the bike, and one of the guys said i'll smoke your old 94 cr 250 with my 02 cr 250.

  • Wow, that's a good one! There was so little change in that period, it's ridiculous. The gigantic leaps forward in performance basically stopped in 1980, when the long-travel suspension was reaching its longest, and maximum power output was higher than any sane man could possibly need. Given a rider of equal skill, just go ahead and show me a modern bike that will put more grins on your face than a 1981 Maico 490. The only one even in the running, in my opinion, is the new Maico 620 2-stroke.

  • Yup, that's pretty funny that people think as years increase so does speed and thats not true at all. Infact, speed can decrease these aren't drag bikes they are made for the track so mods are made to perform best there and doesnt always mean more top speed. Also, in the 80s they kind of hit the cieling for most bikes, I mean a 250 can only go so fast. So, by those standards, what year will honda release a CR250 that does Mach 1?

  • Well, it's nice to think that bikes hit a ceiling, but from what I've seen, they actually didn't. I suppose this is best evidenced by the raw craziness the new Maicos have for power. Sure, they're not geared to break records on the top, but something tells me the KTM 495's record might have some trouble if a Maico 685 owner hit Bonneville with some small sprockets.
