Great dissection of the state. This part we completely agree on. It's the rest which sets us apart. However, if we can agree on this, and that other people should be free to live their lives, that is revolutionary by itself.
I think we can all agree that we want to live our own lives the way we see fit so long as we are not harming anyone else. Only anarchism (or anti-statism) brings that idea to a logical and functional conclusion. Which is why I hate to see infighting between social and market anarchists.
Can you redo this video without the scary face at the end? I think the message is fantastic and would love to share it, but not with the loud scream and mutilated face at the end of it.
Nice video but i don't understand why would you want to put that scary face at 2:20, seems that the purpose is to create a negative feeling on the viewer.
My keyboard needs cleaning. My "t" don't come out correctly. Thanks for reading thru the misspelling. I need to make some of these animated discussion, just using my day to day discussion with statist. It is amusing.
Although we have disagreements, there is no reason to not view each others videos and join in discussion. It's a great way learn.
This particular video was really good. I'm not going to disagree with an AnCap for the sake of disagreeing. If you only check out one of mine, then I would suggest "Our Sister in Arms Carrie Feldman" She needs all the support she can get.
Yes, somewhat. (Rather, we talked about him in class, I didn't really read lolz) he makes a series of underlying assumptions about free riders and monopoly defense that are false.
It depends on what people want obviously, but to say that you need a monopoly on agressive violence to maintain order, and in this day and age, one which can be limited, is both theoretically absurd and empirically false.
Try reading "For an Emergent Governance" that CS just put out, I'll PM the link.
Nozick is a pure libertarian. Most of my class laughed at his views but i believe it could work. The only problem is that Nozick does not have a Constitution, so not everyone is equal. If you restrict the associations power none can overthrow or take control.
Yeah, I often have this type of conversation, except the statist is usually rude and intellectually dishonest and never admits to being wrong, unlike the girl in this video... Maybe it's because I live in a fascist country.
I especially like the point about the difference between leaders and rulers. That's one more arrow for my quiver!

Goddamn, you know what, I didn't even think of that. It was just random, but now that I do, it is an accurate representation!

the rightness of absence of rule is so obvious I'll never understand why only those few of us in the choir see it

Didn't think I'd see a social anarchist around my videos, always nice to see them though. We can learn a lot from one another I think, thanks.

Well, what about the philosophy involved?
Yankees just won! They were looking very good. But the series is far from over, let's hope they can keep it up.

I do not believe anarchy can work everywhere. there is a set of specific requirements that are needed to make it work.
I do believe that there can be a restriction on governmental power, just not a full removal.

have you read Robert Nozick?

Excellent video but statist in my experience never really recognize what the state does as aggression, not at first anyway.
Happy halloween!

Rude, intellectually dishonest and never admits to being wrong, are statist qualities.
Honest people are future anarchists. Keep an eye out for them.
