I don’t know what arab want/need in exchange for peace but I know what Israel have to have to exist and I believe it is fair and reasonable common sense demands.

Compensation to refugees arabs as well as jews.

@Greywind30 Israel already IS a state since 1948, so that checks the first box. Want it to have a Jewish character, fine. Want to make it a secular state, even better. Party every night, great. Do what you want in your state, not outside it.
Defense is good. Goalkeeper systems will stop any Kassam projectile. Defensive structures should be placed on Israeli territory. That wall has to go down or be rebuilt on Israel. Same goes for illegal settlements. Israel has to do justice by it's neighbors.

Israel has created understandable grievances among it's neighbors and keeps doing those things. Furthermore, I notice that Israel is not 'planning towards peace'. If Israel would use the wisdom from it's turbulent past, combined with its Nobel-prize-winning brainpower for a peaceful cause, the world would be a different place. I hope that will happen with Israeli politics.

From the 2000 Camp David meeting to Taba in Jan. 2001 and the 2002 Geneva Accord the Pal. Authority has said at most the # of Pal. refugees likely to do so is 150,000 to maybe 250,000. Okay, so the insistence the refugee issue be taken off the table to ensure Israel remains Jewish majority is fraud

@the81kid 1)Yes, 67’ borders and compensation, but we need to be creative in how that compensation promotes institutions that are mutually beneficial ( + non-zero sums). If most Israelis can be made to feel that their resources aren’t being used against them, in ways that threaten their security, but rather improve it, Israelis will willingly share what they have. The prosperity of the Palestinians can, and should, be framed as national security issue within the Jewish community (cont. below)

I find it particularly grievous that the events - save the few most spectacular incidents - remain largely unknown, and am sure that a significant amount of what little non-Jewish support for Israel there is here and elsewhere can be knocked out if more people learn of them.
