  • This is my brother Sjhanes favorite song. He promised he'd send it to his husband. If he does - Hi Cj. (Is that Mean Gene Okerlund? If not, it sure sounds like him.) And for my bro - Such silliness is you.

  • This was the last era country music. In the old days, country folks could come together through music and relate to each on a personal basis. Now its just about money and most of todays country singers are anti-gun liberals who have never had to fight to survive.

  • Another good old Texas boy, the best country comes from Texas, ill have words with anyone who disagrees!

  • I remember when this came out , I watched an interview with George Jones and he said people better pay attention to Mark Chesnutt because he is the real deal . That a big compliment coming from him !

  • Beside George Jones, Mark is one of my favorites. Both are home grown... I remember when Mark first started singing at Crocket Street in Beaumont, Tx.

  • great song.....takes me back in time!!!

  • Whatever happened to Mark Chestnut anyway? He needs to come out with some "new" old style country!!

  • @liltink869 yea he does he needs to kick all these new singers in the butt!!! LOL

  • Hello EveryOne!

I’m just a girl who wants to become this dream come true.

I love music and I love what I do.

When I’m singing I forget about all my problems and I feel much better and I can be who really I am (There’s a me no one knows)

Music is so nice that I have no words to describe it.

All I want is keep singing all my life and I would like that you guys support me.

Please stop by my channel and check out my covers, that’s all I need.

I’ll Be so grateful If you support me.

    Thank Of all you!

  • Nothing is better than slow dancing with the one you love while listening to this .

Pure country and love it !!!

  • @carahsue YEP LOVE IT

  • Love the older country

  • THIS, my friends, IS country music. This cookie-cutter bubble gum pop sounding music of today is a far cry from what it used to be. Country was decent up until about the late 90's when it started to turn into more of a pop sound. Sure, there are a few good acts today, but nothing like there used to be. Anyway, I listened to a lot of Mark's stuff in my younger days and his greatest hits album is still one of my favorites. In fact, I may pop it in tonight.

  • Amen brother! Amen!!

  • That trailor must have been nashville when he left it

  • Under this video is an advertisement for Taylor Swift if that ain't the oxymoron's of all oxymoron's a real country artist and video like Mark Chesnutt and Taylor Swift on the same page. Taylor Swift is worthy to lick the shit off of Mark's boots!!!

  • @bobafettfan32 is not worthy sorry.

  • damn wish i cld go bk to the early 90s late 80s again. going up then didnt no how good it was back then. funny how back then my dad said the same thing about the 60s and 70s for himself.

  • I like that the ole ford's missing a hubcap!...lol.

  • I HATE this VEVO crap

  • why cant radio stations play this good 90 music, damn!

  • I hate the dislikers!!!!!!! the buffalo @chris

  • you rule the buffalo

  • I like listen to country music from 1987 to 1994. But the only type of Country I listen to is neo-traditonal country. You don't hear much of the fiddles, steel guitar, the piano, and those old honky tonk sounds anymore.

  • well,, this is what R E A L country music sounds like,,

  • If I lived that close to my bar I wouldn't have 2 DUI's. OOOps my bad.

  • tru country music

  • His son goes to my school..

  • the best country was thru 87 to 2000

  • He drinks a beer (or two or three) than states he has to go to work! Why can't I have a job like that?!!! :)

  • @a476716048 Because his job was singing at the bar, when I used to play in a Band the drinks were on the house as long as we fulfilled our set. Great Job

  • Great song

  • Garth Brooks overshadowed alot of good country music talent in the 90's

  • man the 90s were great for country. this is so real, its just so real. one of the best right here

  • This makes me miss the good old days of real country music and the dance hall in Beaumont Tx called Cutters where this was taped at. I wish the radio still played the true country like Mark and Clint.

  • yyyeeeaahhhh!!!, that sure is a sexy as truck my friend!!!!" 1980 f100 300 straight 6,9" rear end!"......when a truck was a truck!

  • @adhippie21 Thats what I learned to drive in, 3 on the tree 11 years old on the dirt roads drivin my grandpaw around. P.S. Love this song. So good to sit and listen to non autotuned music instead of the crap on the radio. As an older guy I sit in amazement at what passes for talent now days. Makes me wanna vomit.

  • hes always be my man.seen him in charlvoix,Mi.country boy,

  • I love it.

  • Low's in the 80's

  • Low's in the 80"s sucks.

  • excellent

  • I HEAR SO MANY WHINEY ASSES ...... THE MAN CAN SING NO MATTER WHERE.....

  • The bar scene was filmed at The Pine Tree Lodge and the dance hall was at Cutters, both in Beaumont, Tx......Marks hometown....the same area that George Jones, Tracy Bird, Clay Walker, Janis Joplin, Johnny and Edgar Winters and many other music artist are from or used as a stepping stone in their carrers

  • 12 people thought it was too hot at home!

  • I miss this kind of Country music now a days...What ever happened to Mark Chesnutt? Does he not sing anymore? I love his music!! This one is my favorite!!

  • @bellayuvia2008 Yea, he still sings. I've bought some recent albums. It's just that the "neotraditional" artists have been pushed aside...google him.

  • @japierce15 Great Thanks!! :)

  • Its hotter than a 4 balled tomcat down here in Austin, 110 degrees today... whew. . . time for a cold unit

  • BOCEPHUS on the back glass of the ford...hell yeah!

wish mark would still put out albums....

  • @tot51

NASHVILLE doesn't want real country music anymore.

  • give me a beer.....thats good music

  • THIS IS REALLLLLLL MUSIC!!!LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!

  • I just did my rendition and video of Too Cold At Home...without all the stuff up front. A lot of people like it..how about you? John Tyler - jtyler5

  • 11 people need hearing aids.

  • good

  • I know days like this

  • My brother likes this

  • Damn this sounds so good. I wish I could go back to the 90s. If I turned on a country station today I'd hear some teeny bopper cunt who can't even sing without autotune.

  • @dhuang8 AMEN! I am so sick of this so called new country music. It is nothing more than rock music with a FAKE twangy voice. I want my country with some steel guitar, fiddles, lil banjo and some real emotion. I refuse to listen or support the new junk with the exception of a couple artist keeping it real.

  • @dhuang8 Ur right about that!.miss him."oh yeah",thats Me in the Corner.!

  • @dhuang8 hahahahahahahahah thats soo funny

  • @dhuang8 lmao, so true

  • i like the tempo, it really reflects my childhood days 40 years ago, its cold, reflecting voice top many memories of the past...

  • Love the sound of the steel guitar

  • 11 people think it is too hot at home!

  • @99svtgreensnake Well if they cant handle the heat then they should...................:)

  • 100 degrees the last 2 days in Lebanon, TN. Look up country music in the dictionary and you will find-3 chords and the truth. Stay cool y'all. Go Braves!

  • @MrBigrobmjca3 my daddy lived in lebanon tn b4 he died:(he passed away almost 3 years ago n it still feels like he died yesterday.my uncle bobby still lives there

  • i go too school wth 2 of his sons ironicly one of them is an emo band

  • @rocker4554 r u serious?!

  • @Invaderzim2015 yeah im pretty good friends with his other son

  • @rocker4554 dang thats pretty cool!

  • What a voice

  • Why don't they record classics like this anymore? They've replaced honky tonk on the radio with boy bands and teenage girls.

  • How can you not like a song that starts with such good steel guitar....:)

  • I sung this at a karaoke bar not long ago just had to vcome here and watch the video..

  • This is an all time classic. I love the way they sampled Freddie Hart's Easy Lovin right in the middle of the chorus when he says "It's so easy not to care". Some people don't notice but give it a listen. The entire song hits you right in the gut just like a good country song is supposed to. Great job on a timeless song.

  • @bobcooter1

I noticed the sampling the first time I heard this song on the radio - (back in the good ol' days!)

  • son this bring tears to ya eyes

  • good country music like this will never die its the crap like taylor swift sings that will die nothing like a steel /fiddle and a voice like this

  • I used to listen to this song with me Dad when I was a kid. It brings back so many good memories. This reminds me of so many fishing trips and things of that sort. Old times are not forgotten.

  • Man oh man, where did this great country music go....what a classic song!

  • One of the best ever !! love some Mark Chestnut,,,,,,,

  • wow, my 1st time to hear this !! True pure country music, just like one of the good old country legends would have written and sang it !! beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

  • This is real country music.Sure wish he would come back and make some more of this country gold!!! I don't even listen to the crap they call country now!

  • i own that truck, 1985 ford f150, just i dont have an extended cab lol

  • yep, this was when country didn't suck...

  • @MrPanzaldua amen man.....take care

  • he has commercials where i live and my dad knows him

  • Comment removed

  • i drank with him and his guitar players here in cleveland oh.

  • @SpinningBackFist11 Haha I have no idea. A friend told me she was some annoying ass brat. Havn't looked into her though ;)

  • I saw him with my mom and grandma when I was a baby. We were front row and he picked me up and held me on stage. I was then known as the Chesnutt baby. :) no joke

  • he came to Window Rock, AZ when this song had just come out, do drop by again

  • I'm still mourning the death of country music. Seems like the only person trying to resurrect it is Jamey Johnson.

  • He was at Georgetown TX.

  • The reason i used to always choose Youtube is because---no commercials Vevos pissing me off---you cant watch a video with over a thousand veiws without running into a commericial

  • RIP Glenn Gordon....He was a fantastic Player.

  • @dizzle114 R.I.P Glenn Gordon

  • Is Cutter's in Beaumont, TX still open? Went there once in the 90's. Tracey Bird was "discovered" there after Mark. Funny....

  • @jlewis732011 Cutter's has been closed since before I moved to Beaumont and that was in 1998, its now a Hooters. That resturant is still open lst time I visited there.

  • fork you brandonch your a fag

  • I always wondered what the world would be like if Bono sang country.

  • love the old country it the best i still rock out and jamm in my car woohooo miss it

  • omg I remember me and my grandfather riding around singing the songs off the cassette that this song was on this brings back child hood memories :)

  • wish i had a bar that close to my house!

  • my mom worked their at the pine tree lodge haha way back in teh dayyy

  • Whatever happen to good country music like this? Oh yeah, her name is Taylor Swift.

  • @griffislo I don't mind the chicks as much; it's the pansies like Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, etc. that are ruining country music radio.

  • @rickallison2223 brad paisley ? whats wrong with him

  • @brandonch25 Just listen to the crap he's been putting out. "celebrity", "online", makes me cringe. I'm going to add a few more to ricks list. Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney. All of which were pretty good in the 90's, but have recently been contributing to this new awful pop country sound. I'll stick with Mark Chesnutt, John Anderson, Doug Stone, Steve Wariner, Clint Black, Tanya Tucker, Lorrie Morgan, The Marshall Tucker Band, Dwight Yoakam, Hank Williams and his son.

  • @Einstejn hell george jones is contributing to the new sound ... but putting alan jackson in that category is wrong idc what you say about that .....and all those guys in the 90's sucked and kenny chesney is fake as hell . i do like all the guys on the second list tho no argument there those are definetly country

  • @griffislo

She is average at best and nothing spectacular that you can't hear on karoke night at your local bar. Taylor is a nice young lady but gifted singer she isn't.

  • @griffislo actually it was Shania 15 yrs ago....come on....Taylor aint that bad, at least she does write her own music, ulike sssoooooo many so called artists these days

  • @griffislo I could like this a million times!!! haha

  • @griffislo yeah whatever

  • @griffislo - Taylor is good in her own way, this is the pure esence of country, this where it is at...

  • @griffislo taylor swift is not even close to as country as mark chestnutt

  • @Glensthebro They both don't even belong in the same sentence together.

  • @Glensthebro NOPE and NEVER will be She wont Even get close

  • @griffislo LOL GOOD ONE MAN THAT WAS HELLA FUNNY!

  • @griffislo AMEN!!!!!!

  • More Commercials!!

  • i like country music too

  • Anyone notice the bocephus sticker on his rear truck window?

  • Real Good Country Music.

  • Plain and simply wasn't pretty enough for today's country,

  • Amen brother, I was born in 72 and have seen the massive change in country music since I was a kid, and now you have this crap. But we can keep these veterans alive by still buying anything new they come out with and seeing them when you can at their shows :)

  • @mrdefkon1 AMEN Brother,I was born in 1976 and know EXACTLY what your talking about the music we grew up with has been castrated and killed and turned into 80s soft rock. George and Alan said it best in the song-murder on music row

  • Plain and simply wasn't pretty enough for todays country,

  • This is the best country music ever . Not what they call country today that is just crap Go Mark Chesnutt We Love You.....

  • now dammit this is country music, and by the way he is not bad to look at either, he fills those jeans just right son.

  • yee haw.....give me a cold 1

  • Discovered by George Jones, he put his stamp of approval on this guy back in the day. And if ol' Jones approves, well..... who the hell am i to argue. This era of country music > anything past 2000. I miss the old clint blacks , the tritts, the old joe diffie, randy travis, etc...

  • this is what country music should sound like

  • this is real country music....this song is great.this makes you wanna drink a beer...

  • @Super70duster

You got that right, brother! That bartender better not short pour me.

  • i totally agree duknud you worded it just as i would

  • Love the song...cant stand them sliding their lame advertisments in anywhere they can

  • I miss this music more than anything. I'd give everything I have just to hear one single song on "country radio" today that sounded like this...

  • @umkmaniac Amen brother !

  • Marks songs, especially this one, always make me homesick, even tho im only 3 hours away. I grew up probably 3 miles from his old house in Jasper, in the 90s, waaay back in the 80s my Dad had a copy of the Too Cold at Home DEMO tape. something about this song always reminds me of those looooong summer days as a kid hanging out at the lake(Sam Rayburn)

  • The album that this song is on was one from my favorites. This is country music, not like today's so-called country music!

  • @robby7fan Dammit i could not agree more. I am sick of this "pretty boy country" and "teeny bop country" that is fed to us today.....Chesnutt was awesome..
