I found out today that a classmate of mine drowned trying to save two of his nieces. Unfortunatly he only mangaged to save one of the girls. This is a tragedy that we as the graduated class of 2010 are going through together. As I found out the news on facebook non the less I cried for him and his family for this great loss. There has been so many misfortunes for our comunity as a whole and I am proud to say that throughout all that has happend our eye have been turned toward God even more.
Sometimes we think we are alone in our worst situations and we see that our own hurt is the only thing that matters. It is not, what matters is can we rise above those storms or circumstances and still praise and tell Jesus that he is the only thing in our lives that matters. His love and sacrifice he paid should be the only things in life that matters not money not job or who has hurt you thats what praise you in this storm means.

I had drifted far away from God, blinded by my life and then I went to church for the first time in a year. The people were welcoming and I made close friends with people on the first day but the best thing that happened that day was that I heard a song that made me walk to that alter. God wanted me there that day and he will always be with me wherever I go and he always has.
I felt like this at one time. I went through a very difficult time. I just wanted God to take me from it and I acually felt like I was abandoned at the lowest point in that dark time. But, I continued to trust that God was there and guiding me through it. It is because of his power that I made it through and no one should underestimate God's power and love.

Hey, when I was 14 [I'm 28] one of my best friends started cutting, not eating etc ended up in hospital. Sometimes she seemed to want God to break it, and then other times not at all. It was really massively difficult- but God gave us the strength to get through it. It was really hard to keep hoping and praying that she'd get better- especially when she actually got worst in hospital.
It took years- but God saved her- and she then later went through a massive tragedy- and even though this was much worst trigger, and she went through the mill- she didn't revert back to old habits.
Being her friend at the mo might be real difficult- she might even sever contact 4 a while but God does answer the prayers of his children- Look at Daniel and how the answer to his prayer was coming- it was held up- fortunately God is never too late. Bless you all- keep reminding her you love her

Hey, when I was 14 [I'm 28] one of my best friends started cutting, not eating etc ended up in hospital. Sometimes she seemed to want God to break it, and then other times not at all. It was really massively difficult- but God gave us the strength to get through it. It was really hard to keep hoping and praying that she'd get better- especially when she actually got worst in hospital.

It took years- but God saved her- and she then later went through a massive tragedy- and even though this was much worst trigger, and she went through the mill- she didn't revert back to old habits.
Being her friend at the mo might be real difficult- she might even sever contact 4 a while but God does answer the prayers of his children- Look at Daniel and how the answer to his prayer was coming- it was held up- fortunately God is never too late. Bless you all- keep reminding her you love her

He is listening to every word from both your heart and mouth. You don't hear him telling you what to do because he wants you to make mistakes he cant always tell you what to do. God will ALWAYS hear you and listen to you That I can PROMISE you Sometimes we just need to be more acceptant and more aware of the answers sometimes we have it in our head what we want the answer to be so we dont listen as hard as we should God always hears us we just need to find a way to listen to his answers and words coming back to us sometimes it even through other people that he talks to us.
