Unfortunately, mainstream society fails to remember the significance of that day because it focuses on trends and other worthless aspects of popular culture.
The Afghans considered them foreign occupiers as well and they were clearly involved in the 9/11 attacks. The next step should have been: stabilizing the country and helping them economically., but certainly NOT invading a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 under false pretenses and thereby ruining Americas economy as well as its reputation.
Honestly, I can't disagree with the politics of this video more. To me, backing down from terrorism, and starting wars over terrorism, are both bad. We're better off treating terrorists as members of extremely violent rings of organized crime. It denies them the dignity of being anything more than murderers.
And I believe that is how most people regard them. It is a fight in the sense that it is a struggle. Also, countries who habour terrorists need to be dealt with.
@ukchristian28 I thought Christians believed that death led to "eternal, infinite, incomprehensible blessing" in heaven.
On the subject of Canaanite children being killed, Bill Craig claimed that "those who die are happy to quit this earth for heaven's incomparable joy".
Considering these claims, would you be able to enlighten me on why Christians view death as tragic?

After 9/11, the whole civilised world was on the side of the US. Everybody agreed, that it was necessary to attack the training camps of the taliban.
Then George W. Bush started talking to his god, who told him what he wanted to hear (gods always seem to do that), and everything fell apart.

Do you think it would have been better if the Taliban had not been toppled?
